DIY Coolsculpting/Cryolipolysis

Anyone have experience with this? My lower abs are always the last area that get lean, and I dont really feel like paying 1500 bucks for someone to go over my body with a glorified icepack.

What are things to look out for? Any good guides out there?

Why do people do this? Just stop eating

Because it kills your fat cells, which will prevent future fat storage there.

Just like with lipo, it can also cause your body to store fat in new areas. Lose the belly and gain bingo wings.

          Nta but like I said

Because Im genetically predisposed to storing fat on my abs, meaning even though I have pretty developed ab muscles, I literally have to be sub 10% bf to see them at all. If I can kill the fat cells there, my body will have no choice but to send the fat it would store on my abs somewhere else while I'm bulking, allowing my to have visible abs even when I'm not in a cutting period. I wish I stored fat in my legs, but I dont

I'm not fat, when bulking I usually hover around 16% body fat, and Id most of it is on my stomach, while still being pretty lean in my arms, legs, back, and chest.

Your lower stomach just tends to be the last area that your body burns fat from. You're not unique, that's with mostly everyone. Even when Arnold was competing, you can rarely see him with a true six pack.

You have to get to seriously low bodyfat percentages to expose all the ab muscles. Stop obsessing over it. Most people don't even have ANY visible abs.

But if I CAN achieve permanent abs year round from this, why wouldn't I? Abs are the only muscle that'll get you laid. And while Im already bigger enough that any more sized with get diminishing returns on attractiveness to women, I like bulking because lifting heavy is fun.

    stop being poor.

Increasing your income will improve your life much more than a marginal gain in abdominal vascularity.

If you're really determined to have this done, get some liquid nitrogen, put it on a wash cloth, and gently massage it over the area. You want to go at a pace of about 20 second per square inch.

I'm not poor, I can easily afford it. I just find it stupid to pay that much money for something you can achieve at home. The only risk is getting frostbite, and you really have to overdo it to get to that level.
      >liquid nitrogen
Cant I just use some ice cubes or ice packs?

Just like with lipo, it can also cause your body to store fat in new areas. Lose the belly and gain bingo wings.

I'd rather have it be stored anywhere else. Lower abdomen is like the worst place to have stubborn fat, other than your face I suppose.

I guess if you really wanted to, you could try keeping rotating freezer packs wrapped just around your waistline for 30 mins to an hour. So long as the tissue has good blood flow and you don't have any weird conditions or fricked up varicose veins you should be fine. No clue how well it will actually work though. Googling around it seems like pro clinics claim you won't even see the full result for months, so I'm inclined to believe it doesn't work that well.

          Thanks anon.
I've seen quite a few success stories though, so I think the clinics are just seething because its bad for business. If it doesnt work at home I might bite the bullet and try a treatment.

You're not poor, you're just risking permanent tissue damage and spending hours trying to find a way to save $1500. Seems legit...

You're on IST asking about putting liquid nitrogen on your stomach to kill fat cells. If its this important to you, pay to have it done. If its not, then move on. You're moronic for even considering doing something like this yourself just to save a few hundred dollars.

You dumb homosexual, I asked if I can use ice cubes and ice packs.
People have been using ice packs on their bodies for decades, its not like all of those people are getting frostbite. I dont see the problem if you just do it carefully.

It's not actually effective. Coolsculpting only works because of how fast the fat is frozen. Long exposure to those cold temps will damage surrounding tissue. You will either not get results and waste your time or you are going to give yourself frostbite and have hideous scars.

Its not a toe, brainlet. You get frostbite when a tissue loses bloodflow.

    Just take DNP
Yohimbine also targets the "hard to lose" fat storage receptors
