Worked oil rigging back in 2016-2018 in north Dakota. Was awesome man. Money was falling out the sky up there. Entry level roughnecks were all making 6 figures on 12-16 hour shifts. 3 weeks on 2 weeks off. Hard work but worth it when you needed 0 experience or qualifications or a pussy college degree

Hell even Walmart cashier's were netting in $24/hr. And every drug imaginable was available up there. Hookers came cheap too

Then Biden became president and fricked it all up. You'll be lucky to make $60k starting out and all the drug dealers and hookers died out

I'm working a beta tech job now but it's remote and pays about the same so I'm not complaining. The moment they want us back in office I'm leaving though

I worked in construction in the past yeah

It's a dead end career though, I'd suggest any anons working in that field get the frick out while you still can. Over time it wrecks your body, all the older guys I worked with were fricked with joint problems, hip problems and back problems

My buddy is a construction manager so he has huge growth potential and already makes a ton of money in his 20's. When he was in college most of the people in his classes were ex-construction workers who decided to avoid the dead end by getting a diploma.

If you're actually swinging a hammer you get topped out quick. If you have any sense you move into supervision or sales and start making real money

Been an electrician for 7 years and i cant take it anymore, it gets in the way of my passion for lifting. Waking up at 4am, always have tool belt on all day running pipe just kills most of my energy, and my back and knees get fricked. its the most boring menial shit and I constantly turn down ot and family/friends always wanting cheap side jobs. Why the frick do people push the "trades" meme when you work with low iq white trash and spics. I was thinking of going back to college but I might just try coding and getting comfy remote job but idk.

I did construction/renovation with my dad in my teenage years.
Decided I absolutely loathed the work and studied to become an electronics engineer.
Now after 6 years of working as an engineer, I've decided I'm done with it. I want to just run my own tech company.
How do you guys feel about electronically controlled tinted windows? Would that be something you'd install on your cars?
    Just spit balling ideas here.

How many times have you been abused kek?

I actually end up abusing the construction teams when I bring out my digital level and tell then that hundreds of feet of sidewalk they just put in needs to be removed, or a concrete test failed and since they didn't wait until after the test to begin pouring, everything is out of spec.
