fpbp. If your posture is so back that you are permanently slouched forward, possibly the ONLY thing you could do to make it worse is to use a harness that deloads your muscles responsible for posture and scapular retraction. You will literally make them weaker and worsen your condition.

You need to work harder, stop being a loser and looking for easy ways out of your problems

    No they make you weaker.
What you want is some springy bullshit that gives you nerd neck so you have to force yourself to look up to see anything.

Wondering the same. I have Kyphosis, a pretty accentuated one. My biggest insecurity.
Doctors recommended gym for correction but I don't see any improvements.
I wish I knew anyone that overcame this through training or other methods.

you can't just go to the gym and expect any kind of exercise is gonna improve your condition.

      >learn core control
      >learn how to move your spine segmentally through cat/cow drills. Look them up!
      >learn how to train thoracic extension. Imagine making an imaginary linefrom your sternum to your sacrum and make it as long as possible
      >learn how to control your pelvic tilt
      >generally learn how to "stack" your joints and create straight bodylines
      >handstands and hollow/arch drills are a good place to start

I forgot the specific name for this type of movement, but focus on going slow and squeezing your back muscles when you're going down on a pull up, or any similar movement. Add weight and it really helps.

          Do these things work?

no, you do NOT want to do this either, OP. muscles like the lats and scapular muscles that work during pullups are what are known as "phasic" muscles and should not be active all the time, i.e. they should not be used to correct posture. Although if you ask someone to stand tall, they will erroneously default to retracting scaps and arching their back. You need to train the "tonic" muscles along the spine that are designed to be engaged constantly and which are responsible for posture. Learn thoracic extension skills that DO NOT rely on your superficial phasic back muscles like traps/rhomboids/lats/extensors and do cat/cow drills to move your spine segmentally

no this is actually moronic meme advice that this Black person saw on tiktok. It will NOT improve your kyphosis, you need to learn how to strengthen the small muscles along the spine responsible for thoracic extension. Dead hangs will NOT strengthen your spine or create better posture

During covid I wore one all day for 2 weeks straight and it made my posture immaculate. Now it feels weird when I slouch so it's easy to correct right away
