Do you even realize how good the average guy looks now?

Every guy lifts now and you even see men coming into your home to fix stuff having thick big arms that fill out shirts. I had a completely ordinary looking electrician in the other day. He wasn't roided and didn't even look ostensibly big yet i could see he had at least 16 inchers with prominent tricep and low bodyfat when he bent his arm.

This is the reality. 16 or 17 inch arms and a low teens bodyfat are totally the norm now. Look at any Friday or Saturday night on the town. Guys in medium size shirts showing off their big arms and tight pants showing off their squatting thighs and ass. Always accompanied by a moderate-low bodyfat. Most people eat well now and don't overeat.

This is the case with most ordinary men and even idle men. It's so rare to see a complete fat slob man who doesn't exercise or lift weights in any way unless he's like an infirm person.

Every single person's social media profile has photos of them in gym gear or posing in the gym or taking progress photos. This applies to women too. They all squat now and take photos in their gym shark gear.

Hashtags like #makinggainz, #smashinggoals, #legday #gymlyfe are used often by even doctors and lawyers.

There's nothing special about lifting now, there's nothing "stand out" about it. The whole fucking world is in the gym but you keep hanging on to this idea of an obesity epidemic.

Sounds more like schizo rambling spam, this isn't the first time he made such threads.

But what the fuck is the cause for this? People working out is demoralizing how?

No its not. Its someone speaking their mind on what they perceive to be reality. You need like 5+ more years of lurking before you can tell what is is what.

As a man you are responsible for your own morale. If "everyone's big bro" isn't a refreshing change of pace from "everyone's cucked by microgarden gnomegainsgoblins bro" then you are failing yourself.

Whatever he is the point is he looks very good. Most men look at least decent like they are trying these days. When's the last time you saw a really really fat slob guy who was under the age of about 50? All younger people care now because they want to post on social media their progress and get praise for it. Just look at any body transformation community. Millions of people viewing and posting there. If you even watch something completely random that has nothing to do with fitness like a religious debate between a Christian and a Muslim you will see even there the younger men involved all have fitness advice and gym photos on their social medias. People from all walks of life and with all interests have an active gym membership these days and they make good progress.

Please go back to 4chan. It's the schizo containment board nowadays.

What's schizo about that? You can watch anything that has nothing whatsoever to do with fitness and you will still observe even there people who clearly take care of their health and are actively lifting even though they aren't even discussing it so it's not only even just the people announcing they are in the gym, you see it when you don't even expect to.. According to what you believe they should be 400lbs blobs who can barely wipe their own ass and have heart problems and diabetes.

Why is it so hard to accept that social media made everyone want to be healthy and hit the gym?

you don't go outside, nobody gives a fuck about your perception of reality schizo, neck it.

the average person has a BMI of 26, that doesn't mean they're 400lb hambeasts, it means they're skinnyfat or chubby, your BMI needs to be twice that before you're a planet you fucking imbecile.

it doesn't matter what 'everyone wants' if they don't have the discipline to stick to it long term, virtually no one works out, let alone lifts which is a minority of people in the gym to begin with.

              Anonymous

They DO have the discipline and stick to it idiot. That's the point. Most young men and women ARE sticking to it and look very good. Care to furnish your proof that everyone is 500lbs and we have a fat crisis outside of some stale studies done by decrepit old men 3 decades ago?

                Anonymous

no they don't and neither do you, you look like shit and need to leave this board, stick to 4chan, never return, preferably sudoku yourself.

                >Care to furnish your proof that everyone is 500lbs and we have a fat crisis outside of some stale studies done by decrepit old men 3 decades ago?

2017 study, 86.6% of men and 77.2% of adults in the UK are fat to the point it impairs their long term health, same goes for half of all the children.

So where are all these people in every day life? Are you claiming they are all disabled and don't go outside? That proves my point that it's only the disabled and infirm who are fat. Go outside and look yourself, walk to the gym for once and observe the people shopping in and around the gym. We also know that most people since social media came around do not just go into the gym for 5 mins fumble around with their phones and leave. Now they bring a whole kit bag, a dipping belt, slap on a pair of headphones and spend an hour in there lifting with incredible intensity. Then they take a photo in locker room dripping in sweat saying "gym where have you been all my life, loving this".

Most people even have "married to the gym" on their social media and even dating profiles. Girls posted by the thousands every day to IST like webm related. Find a zoomer tiktocker who isn't aware of fitness slang. Stop denying reality gay.

idk what reality you live in but i was literally thinking the complete OPPOSITE to myself earlier this week. for the most part, dudes are skinny fat or just fat in general. guys in their mid-30s and up really start falling off the rails. i wfh but i love going out in public grocery shopping or running errands just to see normies and get some self-esteem boosts.

It's the opposite here in Britain. You will not find a Deano who doesn't actively participate in the gym life. And most ordinary guys look like this and then build from there. After 2-3 years of constantly posting about #gainz and #gymlyfe they get considerably bigger and leaner.

Again, everyone knows what bulking and cutting are not. I hear random Pakistani men in the gym who have been there 5 mins talking about bulking and cutting cycles. Why would they even know this unless bodybuilding was mainstream?

    >Look at the dudes Friday or Saturday night on the town!

My guy, of course those guys are fit. The clubs and bars are where you're most likely to see fit people congregate other than the gym. That doesn't represent society at large. It's like saying "I go to the gym and all the people there are lifting! Everyone is fit nowadays!"

It's poor sample selection. You're not seeing any of the men who are early to bed, or working night shifts, or just like staying at home. If you want to see the actual state of society, look at the people in grocery stores, as that will actually have a collection of all types of people.
