Missing an opportunity to get protein to maintain muscle mass?

Is that the benefit you're looking for?

breakfast is the worst meal to skip, a protein heavy breakfast has been shown to reduce caloric intake through the day and also build more muscle mass.

If you had to skip a meal, make it lunch.

I don't eat breakfast for intermittent fasting gains (weight loss & maintenance). Exercise is always for breakfast. I have lunch and dinner that are healthy and balanced. gone From 210lb to 189 in 3 months and have increased my strength with Kettlebells and MMA sparring

"Skipping breakfast" is fatty talk. It's like a small cheat code to lose weight. It's madness for anyone with a decent body and functioning metabolism, it gets you to hungry skeleton mode within a couple weeks (unless you want to cram those missing calories in the rest of your meals for the day, making them painfully huge).

The hunger from skipping breakfast is delicious. Means you're spiraling ever deeper into a fasted state and nibbling on your body's glycogen and adipose stores.

Which obviously you wouldn't want to do if you were trying to bulk.

why would I skip a meal, my protein and caloric intake is calculated regardless of how frequently I eat. If I eat twice a day, it will be 2200 calories and 130 grams regardless. If I eat 3x a day it will be 2200 cals and 130 grams, 4x, 1x, etc. I will eat the same amount of calories and protein.

less than 3x is super sub-optimal. you can't "store" protein, eating once a day for mass gains is moronic.

        >you cant store protein
where do you think it all goes moron

eating multiple meals is good for your hormones and thyroid

Would this be a good idea for a strongfat trying to lose weight? Or is skipping breakfast just going to wither me away into a skinnyfat? I’m genuinely frightened of turning into a skinny armed potbelly.

Countless positive studies about intermittent fasting. Skipping first meal is the best thing you can do. I mean you can still eat breakfast but not right away when you wake up. I eat eggs when I come back from gym around 3-4pm sometimes later sometimes earlier but always keep it in the 6-8 hrs window.

My opinion is that if you're bulking or cutting you should make your meal numbers even for bulking and odd for cutting. Just think about this:
    >OMAD, lose weight because it's usually difficult to eat at or over your maintanance macros
    >2 meals. Fat burgers skip breakfast so you will be hungrier if you do so.
    >3 meals. What burgers ate before they got obese. Breakfast is satiating.
    >4 meals. The extra meal is usually a fattening afternoon snack. This is why I was a fat kid.
    >5+ meals. Mini meals that are usually planned. Rule doesn't apply after 5.

Honestly I work fine on OMAD. If I am doing manual labor or other strenuous work I have a decent lunch too.
