Used to. It's fine for noobs honestly. Once you get to the intermediate stage though you're not going to get much use out of that chain

Not enough weight and a lot of what they do have isn't going to be enough variety for you as an intermediate

I want to but I feel too insecure to go to a public gym even though it's supposedly judgement free

Think about how wrapped up you are in yourself and what you're doing when you lift, and realize that everyone else is the same. As little as you care about what anyone else is doing, that's how little anyone else in the gym cares about you. Unless you're doing something incredibly obnoxious and inconvenient no one gives a shiny shit. Go and be free. Pick a better gym though.

Nobody actually cares about you, sees you, or will ever approach you as you are. Take that as you will, personally I would use it to motivate yourself to go to the gym.

Yup. Cheap. Good equipment. Plenty to progress on for hypertrophy well into the advanced stage.

I used to go when I lived in the city, honestly one of the better gyms. Mine at least was clean and never too busy. 99% of people aren't trying to be powerlifters, just stay in ok shape and its perfect for that.

I also like Latinas and it was packed full of them.

I've gone to 3 different ones at various times, mostly when it was the only option or my other options were too expensive. Honestly they vary.
First one was basically a warehouse full of treadmills with a small pretty inadequate machines section and a tiny freeweight area. Not even worth the $10/month.
Second one was actually good, had everything I needed. Was in a pretty crowded area but actually dealt with it pretty well in terms of having enough equipment/variety to get your shit done anyway.
Third one was pretty shit, barely worth going to only because the only other local gym was expensive. Wasn't that crowded but felt like it was due to shitty choices in how to use their space and equipment. I suspect this is the most common experience.
Now that they're raising the price I'll never go back to one, they were only worth it because of how cheap they were.

Yea and I have for years. Have made solid gains. Doesn't really deserve the hate it gets, it's literally the Walmart of gyms. Has everything you need to prog overload every muscle well into your later lifting years. I've made consistent gains, there's one literally everywhere 10 mins away from you when you're on vacation, and there's plenty of normie cardio bunnies always coming and going. If I hit on too many receptionists, I literally just drive to the other one also 10 mins away and rinse and repeat for 3 months.

This tbh. The people who say you can't progress past beginner stage are full of shit

The people who say you can't make gains are just the ones obsessed with "muh squats"

I'm only turning 30 this summer but thanks, I also do it at coffee shops since there are so many in the area. It's not like I'm swimming in pussy from the strategy but occasionally you get a bite and a number and a frick

I have a nice local gym that doesn't charge much for a monthly fee and theirs no obligations of any kind. If they didn't exist I would probably use PF, but I'm happy to support a local business while I can.

I do. the qt register girl recently left and was replaced with a skinnier version, not a fan tbh. My lifts have gone down since then and I'm hoping she just moved to another shift.
The massage machines are worth the monthly price by themselves. I do dislike the amount of homeless, Mexicans playing super Mario on their phone while they sit on the shitter, guys washing their mouthes out and spitting all over the counter...

Yes. It was decent the first 4 months or so when it opened near where I live, then it started getting crowded. Mostly Mexican women and other girls using the smith machine to do hip thrusts and squats for 45 minutes at a time. I hear they might be opening up another one across town, so I hope that people will start going to that one more instead. Otherwise, its fine for what it is.
