Not hobbies, troon
Hobby: Leisurely activity done for fun.
Yes plenty, but i do not make a habit of cooking them down into laundry lists of hobbies to impress internet strangers, as i do not need your validation
>guitar, piano, singing
>tennis
>grape growing and winemaking
>cooking *actually* cool stuff. Made a french omelette for the first time a few months ago, fricking delicious
>learning and studying various topics, philosophy, religion, history, language, etc. Super into Rome for the past several months
>Tennis

>anime, minecraft, civ, and general reading
You are not autistic enough to be here
>Anime, manga, Japanese

i spread disinformation, try to learn how to code and how to draw, also i abstain from masturbation too
Does anyone have the full version???
Post art
picrel is mine
I like your art man
Thanks, anon
I could for a price
Yup, that's me! What gave it away, the style? Btw here's the complete sketch
The way you shade, and the way you draw eyes, I would say. Do you use any resources websites or books that help develop your ability to draw?
I see, nice to know I'm developing some consistency (I still consider myself a /beg/). There are a lot of resources on /ic/'s sticky, but I recommend the following authors:
Glen Vilppu
Steve Huston
Peter Han
Chris Legaspi
Michael Hampton
Bert Dodson
Marshall Vandruff
Andrew Loomis
Scott Robertson
Also just copy the artworks you like, you learn a lot that way.
Thank you, fren
Thank you anon! I really appreciate the help.
Nice artstyle fren
Hey that's pretty good. I like it
Cute!
give her a wiener and make them have sex
I think I remember you anon, you did this one right? If so keep it up, you are an inspiration!
Learning another language, boxing, drawing, and learning more about chemistry.
nice.
the guy is not in a natural position. I can see that if someone were to squat like that they would fall backwards. you should fix that
Thanks for the critique, I still have some problems when drawing people's bodies, specially legs.
Bugs are fun to draw, I like to give them cartoon eyes like picrel

Thanks, frens
>Thanks for the critique, I still have some problems when drawing people's bodies, specially legs.
no problem, I only noticed it after looking a bit closer, but once I saw it I couldn't unsee it. The bodies look good and the faces do as well. her face looks a lot more refined than his, like you spent more time drawing that girl and the guy was just there in comparison. She just seems to have more personality in her face than the guy does. And her squat position, although more obscured, seems more natural. Notice how her shins angle forwards more, if you squat that's how they'll be. If your shins are straighter then you end up having to stick your arms in front to counterbalance.
I'm curious how you drew this now because I wanna know if my conclusions are correct, namely that you seemed to me to put more thought and care into the girl than the guy.
If I try to name one thing about the guy that seems off, his eyes are a bit bigger than the girl and it makes him seem less serious and more cartoony
It's an asian thing
don't be stupid. Look at the girl on the right. Her arms are in front of her feet, helping her balance. Also, her shins are angled forward a fair amount. Try to squat down and keep your arms crossed by your chest, you'll notice that your shins must angle forward more to bring your center of mass somewhere over your feet so you don't tip over. Whereas in the drawing, it's clear that the guy's center of mass would be behind his feet and thus he should fall backwards unless his feet were affixed to the ground by something other than gravity.
And to be clear I still obviously think his drawing is good
and also what's with calling squatting asian now? I keep hearing normies say this when they see me squatting. I'm not even asian. normalgays seem to be an even worse hive mind than before. they're probably all on the same exact dogshit phone app all day and they move in lock step like something's controlling their brains
I draw bugs sometimes
If I'm feeling really autistic, sometimes when lifting I imagine I'm an ant gathering materials for the colony xd
Shame on you Autist. Only good bug is a DEAD BUG!

Gem hunting/digging/mining/cutting/polishing. Also gold panning. Planned 4oz of placer gold just in 2022 so far. Hiking is sometimes involved in this, having to get to remote places or undug spots on private claims.
You need to go back
Post your models, works and kicks fuucking poser.
I'm an aggressive investor, probably about 90% of my money goes towards buying stocks. So yea the rest of my hobbies are pretty NEET tier. Vidya, drinking cheap beer, watching cartoons/anime, reading, studying math, listening to music, occasional bike ride innawoods (I've got a spot I like to meditate at too).
Specifically I'm at:
Buying AMD
Playing Apex Legends
Drinking PBR
Watching MLP (not a brony i swear)
Reading a book on Warren Buffet rn (forgot title, book is somewhere in house too lazy to get)
Studying nomography
Listening to rock music on Youtube
>Playing Apex Legends
>jump on him for playing a kids game when he admitted to watching the horse flash art porn show
wh-what's wrong with apex?? other than the pc shit of course
Kickboxing, origami, reading. I read a lot of fantasy and mythology and non-fiction mostly about animals and sociology.
I also watch a lot of films and read some manga, and I like janky but ambitious video games.
How the frick do you consider drinking green tea to be a hobby?
My mother recently bought an origami book. Can you tell me more about the virtues of paper-craft, including paper maché?
Well, the only kind of papercraft I got into was traditional origami where you use a single piece of paper and no tearing or cutting. I've seen some wonderful designs using less restrictive methods, but for me the enjoyment comes from learning a pattern and then refining it so that each time you fold it you get a cleaner and better result. It's an intensely Japanese hobby, by which I mean it encourages patience, attention to detail, and autism.
I find it very satisfying and it helps to clear my mind whilst also being productive. I recommend /po/, it's a pleasant if extremely slow board.
Paper maché doesn't really appeal to me since it seems messier and less precise, which is kind of leaning away from the things I enjoy about origami.
I actually started because I found a crane in a bar once years ago and thought it was cute, so I also sometimes leave them dotted around in random spots on the off chance that someone else finds one and it prompts them to start origami too.
I also once taught a gf how to make cranes and she folded me a hundred with a message or drawing inside each one and it was far and away the most thoughtful and moving gift I've ever received.
I build combat robots
Learning Japanese, trying to make friends, getting good grades, and prepping to go into PT.
I unironically collect funk pops. I'm not actually into them aesthetically, but one day their value is going to hit the roof and I can finally move out of this wienerroach infested shithole apartment.
dude you're investing into pieces of plastic anyone could 3d print
That's like saying classic comic books are just paper that anyone can print. These are original items and still in their packaging, therefore collectible.
They're emblematic of our cultural era, and I'm confident they'll evoke a sense of nostalgia in years to come that will make them attractive to the same crowd that's buying retro goods today. Additionally they cover a range of characters and franchises that appeals to a broad swathe of the market.
Let's just see shall we? I don't want to convince people too hard for obvious reasons, but let's just say you go your way and I'll go mine.
>That's like saying classic comic books are just paper that anyone can print.
Uh, yea. They are. Millions if not billions of comics exist.
>I'm confident they'll evoke a sense of nostalgia in years to come that will make them attractive
While that is sound logic, there are millions of these things. Like pokemon cards, some may be more rare than others with varying values, but unless you have a 1st edition 1998 holographic charizard in mint condition you aint getting more than $100 or so. We're talking a 20 year wait on an investment that *may* double, and only double.
I have a diverse portfolio and I buy tactically. Pride of place at the moment is a Star Wars Shadow Trooper, which is currently already worth $1500, and even that is one among many careful choices. This isn't randomly picking up anything, it really is a full time hobby with strategy and planning required, and not for the faint of heart.
Well all right you've made me consider it a bit deeper but I still don't agree. Best of luck though
>I have a diverse portfolio
You're all in plastic toys. That's not diversification. Diversification is investing in different, even competing, sectors. Tech, energy, consumer goods, plastic toys, investing in all of those would be diversification.
>Pride of place at the moment is a Star Wars Shadow Trooper, which is currently already worth $1500
It's worth $0 if no one ever buys it from you. Unrealized gains are fun to look at, but you ultimately need to sell and rotate to other assets to lock in appreciation.
>it really is a full time hobby with strategy and planning required
Cringe.
>That's like saying classic comic books are just paper that anyone can print. These are original items and still in their packaging, therefore collectible.
Meh its true
However there are better ways to make money than collecting things and waiting 5-10+ years for them to increase their value
>but one day their value is going to hit the roof
I am certain that will not happen, but what’s your reasoning anyway?
>hit the roof
At best they'll be like beanie babies. What's more likely is what happened to 1980s-90s baseball cards.
You are me. How's it going?

My dude, you have an interest in green teas. Drinking green tea is not a hobby. It sounds silly, but this is one of those signs that you're a reptile in a skinsuit we keep telling you about.
Drinking caffeine and alcohol while wandering through town harassing women
have a nice day homosexual
you mean to have a sort of interesting life
I don't enjoy anything or feel satisfaction in life except for rare fleeting moments, but they too quickly pass. The closest thing is food but that's very short-lived, and the only reasons I lift and exercise is to pass time and not get fat - but after so many years I can't help but wonder what the point is, as being thin hasn't done me any real good. I've forced myself to try so many things to no avail.
But alas, thou art a homosexual
Reading and watching cartoons arent hobbbies its just passive weeb shit
>drink green tea
Seriously not a hobby. Do you think going pee pee is a hobby too.
I bet you fetishise asian women and only watch asian porn. Problem is they think you're gross too just like white women!
Anon, OP is black, not this weird programmed vision of le loser incel that has been ingrained into your head
Thats like saying smoking cigars isn't a hobby.
Things like cigars and wine become art forms from the way the plants are cultivated, the soil, the fermentation, and so on. Each one is unique and has different flavors, subtleties, and qualities. Tea can have that kind of depth but I doubt OP is drinking it in that context.
i like to learn new things. all kinds of stuff, sometimes when i'm bored i read random articles on wikipedia. did you now that a thunderstruck is hotter then the suns surface?
Did you know the perception of hotness isn't based on how hot something is, but rather how that material transfers heat to our bodies? You could have the hottest material in the world but if it has poor thermal conductivity, you'd be totally cool (heh) to touch it.
Actually a lot of things kindof work out that way. The absolute value of something never really truly matters, only how it changes.
misconception
when something doesn't transfer heat it would be impossible to make it hot in the first place.
what only matters is how you perceive the change. everything is relative. there is no absolute objectivity.
>Did you know the perception of hotness isn't based on how hot something is, but rather how that material transfers heat to our bodies?
No? What about PV=nRT and E=(3/2)*kT ? Physics permits determining the temperature of various phenomena from understanding other macroscopic things, like the kinetic energy put into the system, or pressure & volume.
>ISTtard doesn't understand the difference between perception and reality
you should get your nose out of a book and go build something champ!
yeah our perception of hotness is our cells calculating the fricking ideal gas law. get a grip dude, go touch a piece of wood at 200F and then dip your hand in water at 200F and tell us which one burns you
Drinking green tea is not a fricking hobby. I would even venture to say watching anime is not a hobby either
I like plants, and build robots to take care of them.
Keep that to yourself anon, before the glowies anhero you and destroy your tech.
>and build robots to take care of them.
quick rundown please?
Gonna start learning German tomorrow. I also like reading and working on my car
I make shit music and design dirt circuits.
Cycling, Swimming, IST, YouTube, Animation.
I like fishing and shooting trap/skeet. I also think cooking is cool but I'm not particularly immersed in it, just an amateur that likes to try making things himself. Was hanging out with friends tonight and wanted to make something cool, decided to try making skewers. Picked up a bag of frozen shrimp but steak prices made my pp retract so I used a giant fricking slab of pork shoulder I found for $6 instead and it was a hit, everyone loved it.
very nice anon, how did you season it?
It had a rub already applied before it was wrapped up at the grocery store. I just fried it on avacado oil, then used the pan to fry my shrimp in a mix of onions sauce, hoisin sauce, and teriyaki sauce. After I was satisfied with the shrimp I scooped them out with a slotted spatula, cut my pork into chunks and threw it back in the skillet to mop up what was left of the shrimp sauce. Basically no idea what I was doing but it worked out great
When you keep it simple like that it usually comes out OK. I love the feeling of cooking for people and having them enjoy it.
Yeah, cooking new things for myself is interesting but making stuff that other people really enjoy is a whole different sense of achievement. Friends all complemented it pretty heavy and said it was like something they'd expect to get at a nice restaurant. Of course they're obligated to be nice because we're m8s but I'll let myself believe they were being sincere
