      Nice.

I'm 40 in a few months and been working out since 14.
It kept me lean even during times with a bad diet..
But mentally it probably helped most.

I'll be in my 90's and you'll still see me lifting and walking. Weight might not be that heavy but I'll still be doing my thing.

I'm 45, and right there with ya. Once lifting enters your bloodstream, it's too late, you will never stop.

Yep, I started lifting for longevity a while ago. I use lower weight and focus on very slow cadence reps. I also stopped using barbells years ago after seeing so many people get lifelong injuries especially to their backs/knees/shoulders, so everything is dumbbells/kettlebells, machines, or bodyweight. I think my current push/pull routine is sustainable indefinitely.

Me at over 40 years old and was dating a cutie 26 year old. Helps to have a full head of hair.

No one ever nails my age, ever. Even my latest doctor and their staff gave me shocked looks when they saw my chart. I don't really bulk and work on maintenance for joint health.

And that's her bedroom not mine that is messy.

You guys make it sound like it was a hard option. When you'r older you're confident, you have money and a career, you have experience add to that being fit and handsome like I am and of course I'm going to frick younger women. Especially when it's as easy as it was back then, I didn't have to do jack shit.

Sorry if your stupid ass can't compete.

Hey man, I love it. I'm better educated, I'm more wealthy and taller than the average american dude by miles. Wand women know this. It's nice because I cover all the bases of what they want, the bad part is well, I never settled down until recently. I basically missed out on having kids early, which would have been nice.

Also, because of the racist stereotypes of the entire small dick thing I've literally had women say my dick is "breaking stereoptypes". Which is totally fricked up on a few levels. The craziest is I'm just over 6'' but I am thick.

The bigotry of low expectations can work to your advantage sometimes I guess.

I wouldn't say it if it wasn't so common. Everytime I tell people my age they always, always say the same shit: "What? I thought you were blah blah blah" . It's so annoying to talk about I literally avoid talking about my age to people I just met. It's that common, for me at least.

Again, being a tall asian dude helps, speaking of which I always got "You're tall for an asian". Now not so much because it's too overtly racist (?) I guess? Instead I get, "Oh you're asian, no wonder you look so young".

I'm coming up towards 40 myself and it's amazing how strong the temptation gets to think you look younger than you do.

Nobody was "shocked" at you dude or gave you "shocked" looks, I promise you that. You are 40 and you look 40, that's the honest truth. It might be a decent 40 if you take care of yourself, but you do look 40.

The only thing they all had in common was they were in their only twenties. Again, women were just into me, I was working things out in my life, and so yea, I was dating women who were 10 years younger than me throughout my entire 30s.

Not a great thing, btw, I really wish now I had found someone special and started a family instead. Although, the sex was great and the stories I have are fun.

Ahh. Well, shows you how long I've been on IST. Didn't know that. As far as site maintainers not worried about them nearly as much as the occasional moron that is willing to send the screencaps to your client list or whatever to make to frick shit up. Either way I checked and the GPS data wasn't in it so it wasn't really a problem, but I just to play it safe I reloaded with one that had all the exif wiped and more cropped. Then some moron was like "you're posting 3 times or whatever".

It's just hard to turn down a woman in her early twenties when they're hot. It dawned on me how crazy it was when she met my nieces and and a few that were in high school about to enter college were closer in age to her than we were.

    >25-35 pack on muscle/strength and get more athletic, try to participate in strongman, highland games, and or hmb. dont want to go full bloatmode just some fluff
    >35-40 maybe stick around in that stuff but gradually cut down the weight
    >40-50 keep lifting but more in high rep ranges and try to stay 180-200lbs. more cardio as well

55, started lifting in Jr high school. Spent life lifting for years mixed with not lifting for years. Marriage and a few kids will put a damper on things. Started back up this year after not lifting for a few years. Feels good. Body responding good. I'm building back up to weights I used to do and really feel no different then I did when I was 30. You guys already picking out your walkers for when you hit 50 are cracking me up. Take care of yourself and you will be fine.
