i do forearm curls and the pump is ludicrous. i actually use the exact same positioning as kyriakos because curling my wrist with that angle of rotation unlocks the pump. my arms are much longer than his so i sit backwards on a preacher bench. yes it looks moronic, yes i have a home gym
i get complimented on my forearms and i dont isolate them at all
they'll stay proportional with your compound lifts for the most part
my grip is pretty good now, i can thumbless grip barbell row 160lbsx12 strict as frick
on a deadlift bar i can double overhead 365 for 8 or so
brachioradialis is necessary to "isolate" imo (youll always use a bit of bicep)
other than that as long as it doesnt limit pull-ups grip strength/wrist curls arent really necessary for bodybuilding purposes

I get tendon/grip pain when I overhand for too long, as I let it 'hang' instead of gripping it properly. Don't make my mistake.

i want to add that i do controlled full range of motion but im sure he has a reason to bounce when he does his curls
