you'd have to be moronic to do that, 95% of people here dont lift and the other 5% are clueless influencer worshipping zoomers that started lifting 2 days ago

There was this one time I followed this guys routine. The “I am the anime now” guy. Anyway, it worked and I still more or less follow it. Other than that FRICK no, you’d have to be insane.

      Post routine

I ignore all the food based conversations, [insert colour] pills, lookism and general negativity. Some of the routine stuff can help me tweek my routine for the better but I research things myself after reading it here before committing.

    Not beyond basic question.
Asked how to do a cut when you don't know how much you burn in a day because of work, got a solid reply that I should just test it for weeks and approximate via cal intake when I start to lose weight

I take all my fitness - and indeed, life - advice from fit, and that's why I spent last night sucking off men under an overpass in exchange for money to buy creatine.

no, i have been lifting for 10 years
there is nothing i can learn from people who have been lifting sub 1 year (poll showed majority of people here were beginners)

Also at this point i believe in my own anecdotal experience and knowledge even if someone had good info. There are more than one way to lift properly with good results

no, i just dump research on moronic opinions and call them mentally ill. cause that is what the people here, with insane opinions, have

i only stay here for a day, 2 times a year, cause its generally a shit board

If you're very discerning its not too bad. You can tell when someone is speaking from experience usually.

IST is mostly a place I go to look at fat breasts and read semi-fictional accounts of horny older women throwing themselves at guys, like me, who are blowing up with muscle

There used to a number of people on IST who really knew what they were talking about and would drop absolute gems from time to time. These people are a very rare breed nowadays. The board is full of people that probably don't even actually lift - they're here because they love to blackpill others, pull everyone else into their misery, want to make you doubt every aspect of what you're doing, etc. The board is only ostensibly fitness related, and is instead recruited into some never-ending whirlpool of incel and /misc/ bullshit.

people who know a lot get tired of arguing with the absolute reatrds here. people who have been lifting for 2 months, and now think theyre experts

I’ve made gains quick and easy thanks to IST. My diet is also clean and free from any traces of judaism.

Honestly, 99% of online fitness communities I've checked out are cringe. This place is fun and just has the usual IST issues. I wouldn't take advice here without crosschecking elsewhere but some solid advice does land occasionally.

I actually fell for the "abs are made in kitchen" meme. This plus all the times I've heard "you don't need to train your abs, they are hit while doing other exercises" are the biggest lies of the internet. I dieted down so hard yet abs were still shit and barely visable. Luckily for me IST taught me that abs are like any other muscle and you actually need to train it for them to be visable.

    Stuff I've learned
    >If you're a mutilated bro, but moisturizer on your dick to regain some feeling
    >do kegals for longer, harder boners and you might also be able to stay hard after cumming

    Yes
I’ve gotten great advice and terrible advice
If you get advice from /fat, the advice is always to eat less, if you get advice from /plg the advice is always to eat more.
I was encouraged to eat 4500 calories while doing 5x5 at >20% body fat and I did it.

Yes and no. This place has always been a springboard for research elsewhere. Fortunately the basics are so simple and so well covered in the sticky that it's easy to ignore most anons here. Plus it's clear most people here don't know about diet and programming. I'm mostly here for motivation and lulz. This place keeps lifting on my mind. I never miss a day when I post on IST
