It does, you have a bit of extra energy in the tank and it does marginally increase gains by 1-3%. You do hold more water weight so you look slightly more bloated. Took it for about 2 years and stopped as an experiment. The benefits are there and proven but I don't take it anymore because the benefit seemed kind of marginal in relation to my goals. Can make gains fine enough without it.

I’ve been taking it for months and I don’t notice a difference. The water retention doesn’t sound like a plus and marginal gains are hardly worth the price. I’ll keep up with it because there are other health benefits it seems but I don’t really believe the hype.

Depends I guess. You can technically get enough creatine from diet alone, but its a lot of meat to eat. Anything over 5g is basically a waste. To get that much though, you would have to eat over 1 kg (2.2 lb) of any kind of meat per day. That's a lot, unless you are keto or carnivore I guess. I get 200g of protein a day and I only eat around a pound of chicken per day. Your body does produce some naturally (i.e. not getting it from diet), but I'm not actually sure how much.

Or you can eat sane amounts of food and just supplement 5g of creatine a day. And all it really does, as far as muscle goes, is get converted into ATP, which cells use for energy. So it helps you work a little bit harder, get that last rep or extra set. Are you going to miss out on a lot of gains if you don't take creatine? Almost certainly not.

The balding myth is just that, a myth and complete bullshit.

      >Your body does produce some naturally
supplemental glycine helps with that (anyone not eating collagen/skin should take 10-15g per day of this anyway).
supplemental citrulline (gets converted to arginine) may also help, but I don't think it's rate limiting and the overall health benefits of citrulline are small compared to glycine.

I did take it but I stopped. It seemed to raise my resting heart rate and I felt and looked somewhat bloated. Also I swear it was fricking with my kidneys because they physically hurt at times when I took it. I stopped because its just wasnt worth it to me

I started taking it as an already intermediate (I wanted something to help me push through ) and I'm not that impressed with the results. I'll stop taking it. I'm also disappointed with the whey protein powder and will probably stop taking it, it's too pricey now. I swear it's now cheaper to actually buy premade protein shakes

I don't know that price has ever been the selling point for protein powder. It certainly isn't now. It is at best mid-tier for price per gram of protein. You are essentially paying a premium for the convenience.

What grade? A is cheaper than AA. And only reason to buy AA is if you care about the eggs "looking good", like if you were making deviled eggs or something like that. The taste is the same. If you are just buying them to consume and don't give a shit about presentation, buy A.

Not anymore, I stopped after I noticed shedding hair more than usual.
It does make a difference looks wise at least, you look a bit fuller.
I would say lifting is a bit easier too.

I mean what did you expect? It's just protein, not magic. You need to put in the work and get the rest of your diet right regardless. You're also probably looking at shitty expensive brands. Get something like Jarrow why which is just plain no bullshit whey. Price has definitely increased over the past few years though but no way buying shakes is cheaper.
