Alone , it‘s annoying enough to wait for other people but do you know how long it takes for 2 people going to the gymn and rotating on the same machine?

I train alone but know half the gym. the way to go is small talk before or after the workout and also be able to always have a spotter

Totally this. Work out alone at gym and know many people where small talk at beginning, during hydration breaks and at end is great.

With my wife in the homegym, but sometimes I let her sleep in and train alone.
Went with my best friend to a garage gym a few times, which was fun and I plan to do in the future more often.

I go to the gym with my mom. I've been overweight to obese my whole life, and she has been as well since she had kids 36 years ago.

She has sciatica and early in the year it was so bad that she couldn't walk more than 30 feet without needing to stop and sit down because the pain was so intense. But it's just nerve pain, there was nothing physically wrong with her legs that was causing it. She had spinal surgery to try to fix it, and while it did help somewhat it didn't entirely go away, and she was really depressed about that. I started going with her to her PT sessions, and after the amount her insurance would pay for ran out we just started going to the gym to do stretching and cardio together 5x a week. At the same time we both started trying to eat better. Been 4-5 months now and we're both in much better shape. She can walk for over 30 minutes now without needing to stop due to leg pain.

My dad was thanking me the other day, saying there's no way she would have been motivated to do this without me encouraging her to work out together.

I go to the gym with my wife. 5 days a week, rest on weekends with the kids. Sometimes we use our home-gym in the basement if the kids are asleep and we're bored. She's a good motivation. Keeps me on my toes and enables me to keep pushing for higher limits of strength. There's always competition, at any given moment I could be divorce raped and my children made strangers so I strive...ever higher to be the best me I could possibly be.

I train outside, alone, always running. Find some bars and benches outside to do some reps and jog on. Every off-day I train in our bedroom with some loose weights, waiting until a house becomes availible so we can live apart together so I have my own place to work out.

With my dad :^) It started as a motivational thing for him since he was over 130kg, but he's a genuinely good partner. He's lost 18kg since February. I'm so proud of him.
