I don't know if it steals your gains but abusing it is said to cause dementia so if you do use it use it in moderation

dementia is the least of your worries when using amphetamine

its an amphetamine so it will make you expend more energy and kill your appetite.

anyone know a good way to get it in Yurop?

          ADHD diagnosis
it can be a bit of a pain in the ass as an adult depending on how c**ty your doctor is, generally you'll have to be referred to a psychiatrist to get a prescription

I've heard in my country (Belgium) that getting a diagnosis is really difficult and that even if you do the ritalin/adderall is so expensive despite us being a chemical producer, that even adhd people legit go either over the border to the Netherlands to get them or resort to buying speed.

I was wondering if just buying speed on the darkweb might even be simpler.

Wrong pyschiatrist cant give prescription for ahdh meds only adhd specialist can do that which is then given to your psychiatrist who gives it to your pharmasist. In the UK thats how it is anyway, im going through it now.

Its total fricking shit the nhs. I asked why he( the psychiatrist) can prescibe ssris etc but not adhd meds , he just said its against the law for him to prescibe them. Only the specialist will ok the script. I asked are adhd meds more dangerous than anti psychotics anti depressants if he cant give scipts for them he said no.

this is basically what my GP said to me when i initially raised the issue, i mean a psychiatrist IS a specialist in mental disorders so why do you need to further narrow the scope and get someone who focuses specifically on ADHD? bizarre

Whats even more weird is Ive been given the meds without an official diagnosis. So he is ok to prescribe drugs before offical diagnosis but wont do the same for adhd medication...

I got ADHD meds without an official diagnosis as far as I can tell, I'm in the UK too and went through the NHS. The doctor told me he didn't want to diagnose me with anything. Still gave me meds. No idea what's on my medical record. I'm going to come off them once I'm done with uni tbh

I dont believe you lol. A doctor cant prescibe any specialist meds in the UK. Ive got scripts for nolvadex etc even that cant be given to you by a doctor in the uk, only a specialist.

so you saw a specialist that can prescibe adhd meds then, lucky. Ive actually go to mental health hospital anon for treatment. Even they dont have anyone in the building that deals with adhd, its a seperate area.

Timestamp your meds box as I dont believe you . Im actually mentally ill and I have to be refered to adhd team which is seperate from other mental health services.

I'm in Scotland and we have our own NHS so it might be structured differently but my area has a MH specialist who is authorised to deal with a range of issues as far as I know, not just ADHD. He prescribed me Xenidate XL on a trial basis after one appointment, then upped the dose and gave me a repeat prescription after appointment two when I told him the dose I got wasn't doing anything. He said he was reluctant to prescribe it because he doesn't think I actually have ADHD, but that he would let me try the medication. I'm not timestamping the box as I can't be bothered editing info off the sticker that could dox me or potentially get that doctor in deep shit if he wrote a prescription that he shouldn't have. He sounded like he didn't really care
                >Im actually mentally ill
                Sounds like it tbh

In the england, a specialist can give a script before official diagnosis as it normally goes along side diagnosis but only they can give you the script, not any doctor, an adhd specialist doctor. But in the england adhd is bunched with autism for treatment, of which are seperate from the mental health hospitals( the one I go to is huge with mulitple departments but no adhd autism departments ) . The waiting list for being seen by adhd team in england is 6 years at the moment via nhs. 6 years until even being able to get a script letalone a diagnosis. You can get fasttracked and apparently brings it down to 6months but if everyones doing that it wont be 6months lol I will see in 5 months.

That's fricked up beyond belief, sorry anon. I expected to wait 6-9 months to see a specialist, but that's because there just wasn't for my area at the time I asked for the referral, they were trying to get a replacement. I was seen after like 6 months. That may also be why he pretty much just handed me the script - they hired the first guy they found and he probably had a massive backlog of people with worse problems than mine so he might have just given me meds to make me go away

Im sorry for accusing you of lying. You are lucky anon. If the meds have helped then you are extra lucky. For me its not the end of the world, I'll wait. It might not even be good for etc and I said this to my psych a label wont actually change anything, the meds might but thats the only thing im interested in, the label of being adhd adult autism bpd is meaningless to me, Im me. Have a good one anyways.

No worries anon, hope you get what you need. That's a good attitude to have, the thought of having a mental health diagnosis/label was pretty spooky to me so I was reluctant for a long time to seek any kind of treatment. In a way the result I got was the best of both worlds in that I got the meds I thought would help (I think they have helped) but the specialist also told me that I probably don't have full-on ADHD, just mild symptoms that can be managed with lifestyle. But you're right in saying that a diagnosis or a label doesn't actually change anything about who you are. For me it was an ego thing and I had to get over the fear of being (or rather, what I saw at the time as being) imperfect. It was a dumb way to think about it and it only made me feel worse so you definitely have the right attitude. good luck bro WAGMI

So a psychologist is a specialist in mental disorders, a psychiatrist is a specialist in drugs used in treatment for mental disorders. They both have overlap though if the person is actually good at their job.

Does Adderall steal your gains or is it IST friendly?

No, it's not worth it. It just makes mundane tasks like cleaning dishes and doing homework pleasurable. Learn to do these things out of discipline. I quit adderal after about 7 months because it made me a robot and sucked the joy out of life. Yes my house was clean 24/7 and I got my shit done, but it still wasn't worth it. After quitting I changed my habits and became more disciplined to where I'm even more productive now (over a year off of it) than when I was taking it.

It's literally a neurotoxic coping drug. There are very few people who actually need adderal. The rest just fried their dopamine from tiktok. Avoid it at all costs

        ADHD diagnosis
it can be a bit of a pain in the ass as an adult depending on how c**ty your doctor is, generally you'll have to be referred to a psychiatrist to get a prescription

Getting a diagnosis is really easy, the hard part is getting it covered by insurance.

Has anyone tried this? ARmodafinil is not Modafinil. How does this compare to Adderall/Ritalin?
Didn't try is myself yet, but I want a few forum stories too.

Modafinil is stronger than caffeine and weaker than adderal. The first time you take it you'll feel amazing but every time after is whatever. Just make sure you drink a shit ton of water or else you'll get bad headaches.

Amphetamine is not very neurotoxic and has almost no neurotoxicity at therapeutic doses.

Neurotoxicity is mainly a concern with massive doses or with N-methylated analogues.

            Anonymous

            Not neurotoxic with short-term use***
Long-term use of adderal, even at "therapeutic" levels, is neurotoxic.

Trust me, Adderall is not fricking worth it. Once you're on it, it becomes an addiction. You can't live without it. You think you're god for the first few months, but after the initial honeymoon phase wares off, every day becomes the same. Your mental state will gradually move to insanity and you will begin to develop psychotic or manic symptoms. You will enter states of delusional thinking. It's the NPC's drug of choice. You'll turn anti-social, feel like a zombie, and overall depressed.

It's understandable to take it during college as the workload can be beyond human, but once you're done with schooling quit that shit for your own sanity and health.

I'm also curious the statistics of those who consider themselves anti-social/introverts who also take Adderall...

"hello , so I am a student and I just can't focus for periods longer than 10 minutes"
hemight want to start you off on something weaker but just come back after a little bit and say "well im not getting the desired effect , got anything else?"
but most of the time they that's exactly why youre there and they just dont care.

Long term modafinil user here. Tried armodafinil for a moment (one blister) and didn't feel much different from modafinil. Maybe it was stronger, but I'm not sure. I actually don't want strong doses, I only need light kick, so I only do 50mg modafinil early in the morning, otherwise I can't fall asleep. But my sleep is still not as good as when I'm off pill. I'm kinda addicted to it at this point, so I don't recommend starting with it.

Stop using your computer, television, and phone for a month and fast regularly during that period. You won't need Adderall after you're done.
