GO TO THE DOCTOR
Holy shit
i don’t have insurance and i’m too poor. what are my options?
Go to an urgent care or free clinic. your state insurance should be able to provide you with something if you don't have any through your job. worst case you can just get treated and then run the fuck out after you're done
Go to the hospital now and when the issue of payment comes up tell them you want to work out a payment plan. Pay it or don't, but if you don't go, you could risk losing your legs, or even your life. I'm pretty sure I see necrotic tissue in picrel which means you could go septic and die if you don't take care of this immediately
you sound like a medfag, how did he end up with legs like this?
I'm not a certified medfag but my more than half my family are nurses or surgeons and I briefly went into a medical program. I also worked at a home health agency for 8 years and would regularly work with patient charts and see pictures, surgical notes, and diagnosis pages for situations exactly like this. Take my words with that in mind and if there's a medical professional in the replies defer to them and not me. My suggestions are amateur and an actual doctor is what OP needs. That being said, I can see where the two wounds on his legs seem to have progressed from a small cut and gash. They most likely became infected and OP didn't take care of it, leading to the situation he's in now where he might lose his legs because of the ulcers and necrosis setting in. He's going to need an in person examination to see if there's anything there he can save or if he's going to need an amputation. I'm genuinely surprised that the infection isn't in his blood stream or infecting the bone. If it progresses to the bone and goes into the marrow then OP is fucked. I really hope he's on the way to a hospital right now. I'm worried
nice blog post, gay
Hospitals have to treat you even if you can't pay, it's a tax break for them anyways
I've seen plenty stories of muricans getting kicked out of hospitals though
They have to provide treatment for serious things by law. Lol even then you don't fucking pay when you get treated lol they send a bill.
Your options are go to the hospital or risk death.
cut your legs off
Your option is to go to the doctor
lie about your name
they have places like patient first which charges you 90 bucks per visit but go see a doctor anon.
Medicaid
Look up
Kelly Leg amputate
what calves?
Go to the hospital or unironically RIP. I'm surprised you still have function in your legs and lower spine. How the fuck are you walking around right now?
People will do anything except go to the emergency room holy shit (me included)
SHOO SHOO GAINS GOBLIN
Shroud of Turin looking legs
OP's pic of xir's twiglets looks shopped tbh ka
Heh
A fair question, OP.
Hahaha that's a "yes >:(" if I've ever seen one.
Are you bleeding anywhere else
Are you vaxxed
obsessed. there's a reason you're being ignored. have a nice day, retard
jesus christ dude your legs are on the verge of rotting away and if you dont go to a fucking hospital theres a chance youll either lose your legs entirely and/or youll die
they look fucking necrotic
people sometimes say "go to the hospital" for rather minor things, but mark my words and please fucking listen: YOU WILL LOSE YOUR LEGS OR DIE IF YOU DONT GO TO A FUCKING HOSPITAL
American? What is your life even like for this to get this way? Do you work? Do you live alone?
That is some horrible PVD. How have you gone for so long and not done anything about that???
>a few months ago
Some advanced reply baiting. Kys.
>t.an acutal doctor
>No reverse image search results
I would probably go to the hospital my man. I've seen zombies in Dying Light that look healthier than that.
>this giant gushing wound appeared on my leg, wot do?
maybe see a doctor? i dunno, i'm not a medical professional
looks fine bro just a little bruising
It's concerning that it's on both legs. Even if it's what you're calling chronic venous disease, that still needs to be looked at by a doctor because you have wounds that aren't healing. Are you diabetic? You don't look that fat but you can still be diabetic. The people advising you to go to an emergency room are not being in judicious.
not fat at all, nor am i diabetic. i’m actually underweight but idk if that’s what caused it
It's much rarer but you can still be diabetic type 2 at a low body weight. If you don't have any insurance and you're just going to be an idiot, that's fine I guess. If you had that for a long while and it's not healing there's clearly something wrong with you.
do americans really??
t. nordic free health care enjoyer
yeah man it fucking sucks but what can i do about it, i’m poor as fuck and have to skip meals some days. it is what it is, i just try to make the best out of my shitty life
>"Free"
Kek, this is true. Being a well off American is better than being a well of European, but being a poor American is worse than being a poor European
The thing is, if OP is actually poor, he qualifies for Medicaid and will have to pay nothing if he enrolls
Odds are that he works just enough to barely make ends meet...but not enough to qualify for help programs like that
first of all go to a doctor
but if it is ""pvd"" i would look into vitamin deficiencies associated with it
it might sound like a stretch but maybe its scurvy
its not an exact match but if you look up "scurvy legs" it comes up with a bunch of zombie like kind of skinny and lesioned legs that look somewhat similar to yours
do you have any other symptoms other than the legs?
anyway heres some papers for vitamin deficiencies associated with pvd:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6627356/
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3225350/
vitamins K, D, E seem to be most important for cardiovascular health, id throw in A too for good measure
also I'm wondering what your diet looks like, what is everything you can recall eating yesterday? what do you eat on a typical day
short term maybe take a multi vit and vit D3 (5000-8000iu/day) seperately, long term make sure youre drinking milk, eating eggs, sea food/shellfish every so often, liver if you can manage it, fruit/fruit juice (particularly citrus), etc
but yeah, go to an urgent care/hospital and get a blood panel, should give you a clear answer if there is obvious nutrient deficiencies
>if you were an actual doctor maybe you could give suggestions and stop being retarded
I don't believe you.
You are a larper and the photo is not yours.
In case you are not a larper, then this is livedo reticularis. There is a multitude of reason why this is possible. Most likely it's some vascular/autoimmune disease.
Kek you are not a doctor. diagnosing him with a Harry Potter ass spell
PVD is slow and progressive. OP clearly said that it appeared a couple of months ago. Also the foot would be involved at first.
Even if it's not livedo, it's some form of vacular autoimmune disease. It can be caused by chronic infection, malnutrition, drugs, SLE and other stuff.
Nah bro I’m not gay lol it’s cool if you are though
dis bro finna be amputated
Fuck my life, only on IST
>Americans are so scared of healthcare bills they will let their legs rot for months before going to a doctor
Food poisoning will cost you $800 in the hospital to see a doctor and receive no treatment, up to $8,000 for bloodwork and antiinflammatory med or an iv drip.
A gash that needs stitches would cost $15,000
An xray could cost $5,000 to $40,000
Hospitals literally just make up prices since you can't see how much it charges, I've gotten estimates for an mri between $10,000 and $45,000.
You roll the dice everytime you go to the hospital, you might get an $800 bill, or a 1 million dollar bill, for the same condition or injury.
No it fucking won't just show up with no id and say no habla ingles and it's free
This not having insurance makes healthcare so much cheaper
Jesus fucking Christ almighty~
>I'm dying but I don't want to get help
Then die
Looks ok bro, those are your shins not your calves tho
Do you hunger for human flesh at all?
You need to wear compression socks.
That is a severe case.
There is no cure.
Do you sit down a lot? You might have atherosclerosis in the legs.
what is your diet like?
Also
Lie down after doing physical activity so the blood can drain from your legs. I lie down on a lazyboy.
That is so bad. You need to stop doing physical activity altogether and let these heal. elevate your legs as much as possible.
Long term you must wear compression socks.
I advise everyone to wear compression socks, even if you are young. Give your veins a break.
At least you can buy iphones and shitpost that other countries have less army. That counts for something
im sorry but you might have heart disease as well.
quit caffeine and stop physical activity, and see what happens.
vaxxed?
Everyday I'm thankful to god that I'm not an American
I may be a dyel but at least I have free healthcare
State sponsored healthcare for poor people here is like 50$ a month. Idk how so many Americans don't have healthcare. Any full time position offers it, and if you're not working full time you can qualify for the the poor person health care because you're probably poor
>Idk how so many Americans don't have healthcare.
It's a meme. Incels just don't want to go outside.
Real. Never paid for healthcare my entire life because my job covers all the basics and anything extra was covered by my HSA that my job does matching contributions to. And with expenses low in that, nothing has hit my funds yet. It's comfy as fuck getting immediate medical attention AND not pay for it
I'm thankful I have a job that provides health insurance and can get an appointment with any specialist etc. in like a week.
If you're poor that means you don't have any property, so your basically judgment-proof anyways even if they file a lien or something.
If you don't have insurance there is a good chance you don't have any wages either which means a garnishment is also not going to work.
Looks like necrosis, op might be larping if not RIP or you just might lose ur legs
What the fuck go to a fucking doctor what is wrong with you fuck fuck fuck
>no insurance
GO TO THE FUCKING DOCTOR moron YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE NO LIFE ANYMORE
Go to the doctor.
DO NOT PICK AT YOUR LEGS. DO NOT END UP LIKE KELLY.
He has venous insufficiency. His veins aren't working. That is a severe case. The flesh is dying because it isn't getting enough oxygen. It's a circulation issue. I advise everyone wear compression socks. Especially when you are doing physical activity, even if you are young. This will support your veins so they don't get worn out.
This is pretty common. once you get 40+ things start going wrong in the body and you get chronic conditions that won't go away on their own.
Why we need to wear compression socks when we're doing physical activity?
>Why we need to wear compression socks when we're doing physical activity?
When you do physical activity, blood swells the legs and swells the veins. Veins are thin walled and fragile, so if they get swollen with blood a lot, they will get worn out, and that's Venous insufficiency. The compression socks compress the leg and help 'squish' the veins and hold them together so they don't get stressed by the blood swelling them and stretching them.
Which ones do you recommend?
>Which ones do you recommend?
Fitrell compression socks, on amazon, are good.
ty
Could I just take citrulline?
I got a problem with my legs that I think was caused by doing lots of physical activity then sitting down at the computer for long periods right after.
I should have laid down or reclined on a lazy boy for 15 minutes so all the blood could drain from my legs. And also worn compression socks during and after physical activity, and when I'm sitting at the computer. It's not as serious as what this guy has, but if I don't wear the socks I get a lesion, like a patch of dead skin, on my lower leg that could become an ulcer.
You should be worried bro. I would be. You need to get that checked out
Stop doing tranq you fucking psycho
Put a pillow or two under your feet at night
bump
