The barbell itself weighs 20KG, you Black folk are either trolling or moronic thinking the bar starts at 0KG before adding weight.

Yes, the barbell itself weighs 20kg/45lbs. No, that doesn't mean you count it when you state your lifts. We count what we put on the barbell, not the entire weight of what we are lifting, by that logic the clamps count too. Only egolifters and broccoli heads do it to smuggle in an extra 20kg on their 1rm. Anyone can handle the bar, that's a common denominator.
By that logic I already squat 5pl8 because if you count the bar, your bodyweight counts too.
Do people other than teenagers actually do that? Just automatically detract 20kgs off any stated lift, in order to imagine what that guy actually puts onto the bar? Whoops, I got on a long pair of sweatpants instead of gym shorts today, gotta add another 1lb of weight when I state it lol

The barbell actually does weigh 0 when you are bench pressing because of the way it bends. It bends down at the sides from the weight which pushes the middle (where you're holding it) upwards, negating the weight

No you're not strong. You break out of embarrasing tier when you put on the 25 plates either side, you're not in strong for normie standards until your repping 90's. You're not actually strong until your repping above 100.

so benching 70kg is out of the embarssing tier?
