    back when i ran most everyday, i was legitimately not able to use regular sized condoms.
    i bought a variety pack for myself and basically every condom would just roll off
    i never measured myself back then, but eventually i stopped running and started eating worse plus death grip
    nowadays i'm able to fit into regular condoms i think, i'm 7.5 x 5.5 rn

            As someone 6.5x6 myself, I find that one part of erection quality is also how self concious you are about it. Former partners have never complained, but I also rarely/never get the "oh my god it just wont fit" comments. Taking this into considerations I have no reason to complain ,but I had a period when I was obese because I somehow got it into my head that I had to be to lift heavy weights. My dick looked so miniscule with the fat pad and my thunder thighs. And that also affected my erection quality. Dont misunderstand, being otherwise healthy is also important. But dont underestimate how much sitting in your own insecurities can affect you.

    Yes, cardio helps but keep in mind if you are currently losing weight and eating a deficit that can dampen things, so if that's the case don't give up. Once you're lean and eating at maintenance or a slight surplus and doing cardio, you'll be good.
