You need a lot of ankle and hip mobility. If you can’t air squat to full depth and sit there comfortably you likely won’t be able to do a pistol squat. Work on those first, the balance will come naturally as you train them when you are able to go all the way down.
Technically a muscle-up is the "do everything" upper body exercise. If you do pullups exclusively you won't work your "push" motion muscle groups. Look at the body types of rock climbers who don't do pushups or other push exercises - they will have hunchbacks since they only pull.
Yes for me this is the hardest exercise and the most challenging to do every damn time. But its also the most rewarding bcos normie and weakling will always look amazed when i do it in public and know that im superior and powerfull than them and all of you homosexual dyel in here. Peace and happy new year. Also frick you im the best in here.
im 32 years old,. 100 kilos and lifting for 3 years and i still cant do a single push up. Funny thing when i was younger in college i could do it like it was nothing.
You don't? Keep lifting+ cardio, watch your diet, lose weight, become flexible then you do it. This is my goal, to be able to achieve respectable pull ups.

My New Year's resolution is to be able to do a muscle up.
Given I currently do PPL,
>what day should I do it on >could I just swap the entirety of PP for muscle ups several days a week with some accessories
How is this even possible? I know they do in Olympic gymnastics but it seems crazy to me how they achieve the transition from hanging to standing up on their arms.
you swing forward at the bottom and do a pulling motion really fast while swinging backward, thus allowing you to wrap your forearms above the bar along with your chest. Then extend your arms and voila
Yeah literally only fatass DYELs use that cope. Any self respecting lifter will make time for some calisthenics, at the very least some pull ups. If you can't do at least 5 pull ups you're not IST sorry
Used to be able to do 33 consecutive pull ups and 12 muscle ups back when I was 16 and weighed 65kg. Now at 85kg I can do 10pull ups and maybe 2 muscle ups with pretty bad form.
my fav exercise besides bench.
my only problem w it is that it doesn't exactly responde quite as easily to linear progression like other lifts. I have been stuck on weighted pullups (+16kgs) at 5 reps for months, while the other lifts keep going up, albeit slowly.
I can't do them without swinging so I just gave up. I look like a moron when I try them. Lat pulldowns are all you need for aesthetics anyways and I work the core separately.
>want to learn pullups because my biceps are shit >gym only has these weird grip thingies instead of straight actual bar >feels like this doing pullups on them
WHY do they always do this
Doesn't do legs, you low iq troglodite.
Legs don't exist for calisthenics athletes
Get a load of chicken legs mcgee over here.
In fact, legs interfere. They're just dead weight.
>does half of everything
How do balance like this?
as if you were going to sit on your ass, put the weight on the standing leg and go down

I wish this image had been the thumbnail for that gay depression video Jeff's underling did

What's a good push exercise for the back
Wide pushups
Which grip is best grip?
18 yo
coward
you deserve to be off by one
this and jump rope are things I'm too self-conscious to do in public, I don't even mind doing those gay ass glute thrusts

They’re probably wondering why you don’t know how to use a dryer or an iron correctly
lol did you take your shirt out of the dirty laundry for this pic

Start from your knees, you'll get it back again
Try holding the position for time if you can do that. Top, bottom, middle. You'll build up the strength to do them soon.
What have you been lifting? Gay sex?
I only have a couple of dumbbells for now, what are the best back exercises?
Toss the dumbbells in a bag and row them with one arm for high reps.
How to train these when fat as frick

this and dips, then you have covered everyhting expect lateral delts
the most gains i hade from pull ups were in my forearms, my father even said that my grip was stronger than before when giving handshakes
>everything
No, but I will be extremely happy when I am able to do this.
>weighted ring dips
>weighted ring bulgarian dips
>weighted ring pullups
>weighted ring towel chinups
Here's your best upperbody routine bro
calisthenics are gay.
muscleups are also gay and I only ever see the smallest/weakest people at my gym doing them (*trying them)
functional exercise >>>
>calisthenics are gay.
Have you tried not being fat?

Post legs and chest
>chest
Useless for practical uses. Roman soldiers had no use for that muscle when throwing a spear.
You are not Roman, a soldier, or even a man. Better hope there is never anything on top of you that you need to push away. Post chest, chestlet
You definitely do use your chest when throwing a spear.
Black person the chest is literally the main throwing and thrusting muscle. If anything Romans probably had disproportionately developed chests.

I've noticed it's difficult to progress them. Thankfully they're pretty fun and awesome and the answer is to simply do more of them
I can't do them without swinging so I just gave up. I look like a moron when I try them. Lat pulldowns are all you need for aesthetics anyways and I work the core separately.
cope
Not coping, just acknowledging my shortcomings and working around them.
Seethe.
>Not coping
>I just gave up
>Lat pulldowns are all you need for aesthetics anyways

Sneed harder. Don't get upset just because others work out differently than yourself.

Because gyms catee to morons and women who think stupid shit like that us better.
