Does farm counts as workout?

>scumbag dad told me to work at his farm or some shit in summer holidays to earn a quick bucks and gain experiences useful for my major(I study biology)
>the nearest gym from the farm is like 2 hours away so its impossible for me to work out on farm days
>half of my farm days overlaps with gym days
Can I still get IST doing farm shit like plowing the field or moving the haystacks around?

    lift rocks. and i don't mean this in a joking manner, i'm dead serious. find some heavy stones around your father's farm and lift them. i'm talking heavy, at least 100 lbs, preferably 200lbs+.

      A 100 lb rock is only good for front squats if you bear hug it. Better than nothing. Smaller rocks are better cause you can use them like dumbbells. You can still find plenty of places on a farm to do pushups or body weight rows. Do many push ups and variants of push up. The guy in OPs picture looks kind of ripped with big forearms and shoulders. It’s better than not working out at all but the look is off.

      entirely depends on what his farm work is, and how he does it.
      But here is an OBJECTIVE opinion.
      Summer holidays wont make or break his gains.
      So he should try to get the most out of it, with sun, working out, fresh air and what not.
      Just make sure he sleeps a lot and eats well.

    Don't expect any major gains. However, if combined with a good diet, you can have a decent lean body. I work on a dairy farm and train calisthenics in my free time and I constantly receive compliments on my physique.

    If this will only be a summer job and youre returning to college where you will be able to loft it might be a good idea might give you great cardio and get you shredded if you eat right

    Ive been lifting plus my server job and fat has just been melting off. Only thing i would say is dont work so hard you take any sort of damage which is def feasible
