Doesn't kill gains. It's fine. Just don't let it talk you into eating trash.

This is where it can frick you up and it gets even worse if you add alcohol in because your inhibitions will go out the window and you'll want to stuff your face on all kinds of garbage. The best way I've found to deal with this is to have some kind of reasonably healthy but substantial snack already prepared before smoking so you have something to satisfy your hunger on that isn't absolute shit.
I usually go with some tuna or make a sandwich with some cold cuts or some shit like that

I mix strawberry protein powder with yogurt and put it in the fridge beforehand. Tastes awsome on a hot summer day.

Protip from someone smoking 10+ years. Go brush your teeth after you smoke.

I should have learned this 7 years ago. Now I'm using multiple whitening products to try and fix my disgusting teeth. Going decently, but it's better to not have to do this

Should be fine as long as you dont smoke it unfiltered with tobbaco

Just like no one's life ever improved from drinking a beer but it's still fun.

If you are an addict and you are unable to channel.your addiction into golf, weed is way better than booze or worse.

I'm a life long closet pot head degenerate, but I managed to marry and create a family, get a good wage cuck job (middle management), and be active while smoking half oz or more a month for over 20 years.

      >It's not as safe as people think
      Most likely
      >It limits you
      Very true
      >You'd be better off not smoking
      Absolutely

Still going to do it. I've managed to craft a very neat routine that I enjoy, so I see no reason to stop. I couldn't balance booze so I cut it out almost entirely.

Doesn't kill gains. I'm a regular runner, and I haven't noticed any negative effects on my running, unlike alcohol.
However, I do find that weed is addictive, maybe not physiologically, but psychologically it is very addictive. It's also not good for overall motivation - if you smoke regularly you won't have a desire to improve your life, you'll just be content with everything. It's good to smoke everynow and again to reflect on life, how things are going etc, but do this everyday, and you'll notice you'll become less motivated.
Be careful, anon. Use cannabis sparingly, ideally a maximum of once a week. Have some alcohol every now and again instead of smoking, to mix it up. And have days where you don't have any substances.
    Godspeed.

Well said and as a former long time smoker I agree. After a period of sobriety I have found that I am substantially happier when I am not relying on an external substance for my "happiness" or to "unwind" and chill out. I love weed but have often abused it and struggle to use it in moderation, If i have any its getting smoked.
If you can use it sparingly, enjoy it, its a great tool and always makes you feel nice.

yeah but you can work around the psychological addiction easily by doing mental gymnastics because mental addiction is nothing compared to the physical one. You can occupy your mind easily and get it off your mind unlike physical addiction which reminds you of it's presence through force

Uhhh weed actually made me fix my diet and have a proper morning routine that involves jogging in the park every morning

Weed only engages any positive ir negative traits you have

It did for me as well but I have an issue with using in moderation and end up smoking until the weed is gone. The high makes my life so much nicer and better than it usually is so its very addicting to people like me.

same problem here. Dealers would only sell me 3.5g minimum (eurogay) and since I toke from a pipe that would last me like 2 weeks... I get 1g from dark net from time to time and try to get it over an done with in a weekend

Yeah, thats a healthier way for people like us to smoke. Weed is still great and I love it (too much) so its better to get small amounts and get blazed for 1-2 nights then get back to real life. I've lived the constantly high life many times and I don't really want to go back to it.

same here man I've wasted a few years on the high life... I've not smoked for over 3 months I'm thinking about getting some soon, but a part of me wants to stay off it for a year first.

Yeah bro I had 6 months off at the start of the year and felt great because of it, "happy" and at peace with real life without weed for the first time in a while. Funnily enough it came back into my life and I bought 2-3 g's, smoked for a week and really enjoyed it. But I still craved it hard and my "sober" moments were filled with me wanting to get blazed. It takes over my life too much, and even though I love weed, I can't really trust my self with it sadly. Many people are like this and just can't use in moderation.
I've learned to enjoy life and be good without any external substance now and don't really want to go back to craving weed all the time. I do recommend you get a small amount and enjoy it, but you are likely the same as me in this regard. The cravings never really go away in moments of boredom when you'd usually smoke, but thats life.

Yeah man, I'm exactly the same as you from what you're saying. I have been craving it a lot during my sober times, but sometimes I would think I'm never going back to it and that I wasted time on the high. There are certain benefits to it for sure, but I've been struggling with motivation in my professional life as it is and toking one is a recipe for disaster... I haven't been drinking alcohol at all either and I do think if I were to use a substance I would rather get stoned, but deep down I feel like staying completely sober is the real move for me....

are you guys me? like yeah, smoking is nice every now and then, but it can get out of hand pretty fast. even if it's not an everyday thing, 2-3 times per week still fricks me up as if i'm living in a slight haze all the time. the high and next day afterglow are nice, but outside of that it's harder to feel and vibe to things, as if things aren't as vibrant.

i've been trying to fix this problem over the summer by only grabbing 1g so it gets used fast, then have a 1-2 week break. it's still not an acceptable amount to me, but it's progress, and i've realized smoking 3x/week isn't the person i want to be. rather vibe to stuff again and see myself as a decent, high quality human. not saying you can't be high quality if you smoke, but for me it just fricks up the way i see myself. anyway sorry for the rant, just felt like getting this off my chest. still got some salad left and i'll finish it this week, then hopefully stay clean for an indefinite amount of time...

    >Does this kill gains?
    Not really, no.
In fact, it helps with recovery, especially for people who do a lot of sports and training. It really helps with muscle pain.
There was a Statistic / Study that showed that about Half of all US Pro Fottball players used Weed to relieve muscle pain, vbecause the only alternative was Opioids / Opiates.

Also, Muy Thai (Thai Boxing) in Thailand use Weed before training, as it makes you less stressed, more confident and counter-intuitively helps concentrate on fighting more / gets you in the "Flow state".

    >Can I just smoke it on rest days?
    Yes that's totally fine.

ACTUAL ADVICE from a Reasonable Stoner :
    - DO NOT SMOKE WEED (regularly) if you're Under 18.
    - Weed is only Safe for people after age 21. Actually, 25 is the age your brain is fully developped, so waiting until then is the BEst policy.
    - Before 25, weed affects Grey matter (outisde layer of the brain)
    - After 25 weed affects white matter (inside layer of the brain.
This is apparently how we can tell if Weed is going to be a problem for you or not.
Disclaimer, if you do somke regularly under the age of 18, then be ready for it to worsen any kind of underlying mental illness you might have, even if they are dormant. Weed might be good short term, to lower symptoms, but in the long run make things way worse. talking from experience here.
So basically Weed is BAD for Young People, but Great to treat Old People illnesses.
So we should discourage young people from using it and encourage Boomers and elderly people to use it.

Last but not least : Weed isnot like Other drugs. We understand how most drug works, the process behind them. But not for Weed.
Weed affects different brains differently. The effect of weed depends on the brain it's in.
So different people will have different effects, even if they smoke from the same Weed.

Weed does'nt increase or decrease Test, but users do usually have higher test

That's the entire Scientific Knowledge rundown about Weed

Smoking it here and there should be fine. It affects your sleep quality, so if you are smoking every day, then after a bit your recovery is impeded. I found when I was using it daily after about a week my muscles were sore and not fully recovered from previous gyms, which wasn't happening when I wasn't smoking.

ive been smoking for years and ive never noticed any effect on my gains, positive or negative. I imagine the only real negative effects on lifting, or more endurance, are the negative effects smoking anything would have
