uhmm any claim that is telling me that current thing bad or goes against the status quo is initially dismissed as a conspiracy theory, until studies are linked, then i stop talking and forget about it in a day, chud.

No where does it say the soil is making vegetables less nutritious. Just that the soil itself is producing less crops. Try again schizo

Less nutrients in the soil, less nutrients absorbed by plants. There is still a bare minimum required for the plants to grow, be healthy, and be a size worth harvesting. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/15637215/

Of course in this he states it could easily be explained by different cultivated varieties between 1950 and 1999. So maybe the crops are still just as nutritious.

Most of what you see in the store is gmo. The whole idea of gmo: find a super chemi al that kills almost everythibg, find a plant that doesn't get killed, find the genes that make this possible, implant those genese into the plant you are going to grow, use a ton of chemicals to kill everything in the soil, plant your veggies, don't care that those veggies need bacteri and fungi to absorb vital nutrients like magnesium and zinc, don't care that lots of vitamins are produced as a defence against insects and parasites (they all are dead now). On top of that, you can get new breeds that are bigger and look better, you don't need to care about the quality.
they are cutting corners by not adding as many needed nutrients to soil. only the ones needed to actually make caloric amounts.
welcome to vegan dystopia m8, no vegan has an answer to this since one our leading mineral providers is animal farms.
No, the soil used to grow food has been decimated for years by monocropping and over-farming. Also, most foods grown have either adapted to growing in shitty soil, or have been genetically engineered to.
Crop rotation isn't a thing anymore. Monocultures are depleting the soils' nutrients which is why more and more fertilizer is needing to be used, and as a consequence, the produce is less nutritious. Coincidentally also an argument against the efficacy of a vegan diet
I love how people just make up bullshit and post it like they are experts on the topic >facebook graphic with no source >IST falls for everything
What were the mineral contents in a carrot in 1700, 1850 and 1939?

it's almost like the law of diminishing returns is a law for a reason.
people seriously think they can get MORE nutrition for less.
like lmao yeah right those fricking grapes just put the antioxidants in the soil themselves.
They should till weeds and organic materials like food and animal waste back into the soils. Letting weeds grow instead of killing them with herbicide pulls nutrients up from deeper in the soils.
I grow my own so I have full control over everything including soil quality since even organic are grown en masse and frick up everything, but insofar as nutrients go it's a moot point because

who is reducing the minerals?
they just grow in the ground
are people at the stores taking the minerals out?
the soil health is getting poorer you absolute fricking moron
so youre telling me dirt is getting less healthy?
yeah ok
like that even makes sense
thank-you for your contribution to today's IST
So? Plant them somewhere else where the soil isn't shit.
congrats you discovered not buying from agrocorp
I don’t think you can prove that. Or that it’s making our vegetables “less healthy”
Are you actually moronic? This isn't a conspiracy or something in contention.
If it where then you could provide proof that isn’t Infograph’s or YouTubers you Schizo

what makes healthy soil and therefor nutritious plants
oh god I hope it's nothing to do with animals

You don't have proof either, all you're doing is denying them while not proving why they're wrong. Where's your evidence on why they're wrong?

well it's now 2022
maybe some more minerals were added to the dirt around the world to make them more healthy
can you post some new numbers
These corporations will do anything but do the right thing. Industrial agriculture is for goyslop products.
Even regenerative agriculture doesn't replace the minerals lost to the land when you eat the animal.

Buy organic fruits and veggies
I grow my own so I have full control over everything including soil quality since even organic are grown en masse and frick up everything, but insofar as nutrients go it's a moot point because
It means you should buy your food from a farmer, and while your at it drop the disgusting tasting vegetables and just buy meat from your farmer.
