DYEL

I've been lifting for three years on and off. Still look like a dyel. Am I doing something wrong or I just have shitty genetics?
Also, what is my body fat percentage?
I'm 6" and 183 lbs.

continuity and progressive overload is what builds, not "on and off for three years". moron. You've just wasted three years.

what I meant by on and off is during the lockdown I couldn't go to gym. Other than that I did train with progressive overload

You are a bit tall. Let me put you on to a new option. Do not listen to fat loss advice. Stop trying to even lose fat. Eat. But do not fricking stop lifting. No on and off crap. Eat.

Ignore this moron, even tall people need to lose fat

You're the moron for not seeing the obvious. He's not fat. He shouldn't even give a shit about fat. If this guy single-mindedly focusses on muscle growth he'll turn into a Hercules.

Compare this guy to 50% of the USA's population. This guy doesn't have 20>% body fat

              Anonymous

He sure has 20+ bf% and comparing amerimutts to anyone isn't a argument. Also look at his gut and fat thighs, he didn't train enough in those 3 years. If I was him, I would cut and then bulk and train as hard as I can. Not ''on and off'' bullshit.

I think the issue isnt routine I think its you not pushing yourself and not having an adequate diet. Dieting is half of your gains. You need to be eating at least 150g of protein a day bro and drinking a gallon of water. Sleep is huge too at least 7 hours.

I haven't done one rep maxes for a while.
Bench press: 185 lbs around 6 reps
Lat pulldowns: 210 lbs around 7 reps
Deadlift: I don't know. last time I attempted 220 lbs my lower body could have done more but my wrist got injured so I haven't gone up that much since then.

I used to cycle, maybe that's why the inbalance between my upper and lower body

Your form sucks ass, you have less muscle than you think, and you are low T. You should feel the muscle/group of muscles you are working with every rep. If not, your form sucks wiener. Go to lower weight and master the form. Low T is also a possibility do to your b***h breasts gyno. People can lift like absolute morons in the gym yet still make progress.

If you don't look like this after 9 months of training, you are doing something wrong.
There's no such thing as genetics. Everybody who does everything right looks like this after nine months. If you don't look like this it means you did something wrong. You need to do better. Height, eye color, skin color, hair color, bone size, dick size is genetics, but muscle building isn't so you need to fix what you are doing wrong because the complex process of muscle protein synthesis which involves DNA transcription has absolutely nothing to do with genetics.

Anyone can achieve my body with the right steroids.
Derek Moreplates was on his way to my size but he decided to stop half way because of reasons. But he was going to get there for sure because he is a steroid guru who knows all the science, and also knows all about diet and training due to his intelligence. But alas, he had to stop half way on his muscle building quest, nothing to do with genetics.

Take your pick, probably all 3.
You should leave the gym sore and exhausted, after fully exerting yourself every rep, then promptly eat like a maniac or not at all.
