I think so too. I'm 23 BMI and just can't lose the weight

you're in kaloric deficit and your weight doesn't change? It means you're losing equal amount of fat as you gain muscle, congratz!

I hope so. Started a difference routine so maybe I'm seeing strength gains?

      >>eat barely anything
if you actually eat nothing, your body will start burning your fat. eating a tiny bit of food is literally the worst thing you can do. either eat to satiety or don't eat at all

it is, just takes way fricking longer than what you expect it to take
you also got massive fluctuations every day, so you could be doing everything right and thinking its not working
assuming youre actually intaking less calories

I had a peanut butter sandwich. 500 cal.
A half peanut butter sandwich 250cal
A couple slices of pepperoni and salami. 200cal
      And some popcorn 400cal.

So about 1500 give or take. And I spend all day doing chores. I should have lost weight. But it's still 2 hours till I usually weigh myself (up early, can't sleep, hungry) maybe I just need to pee. Also kinda have to poop but it's like that halfway point where you feel it but it's not ready to come out yet

Eat real food moron. Meat, fish, vegtables and leafy greens, fruit, eggs, oats, skyr, yogurt.

None of that shit your eating is going to make you feel full. Peanutbutter is fine but bread will make you feel more hungry. Popcorn is just air and empty calories (and 400cal worth of popcorn must be a bucketfull?)

Mentally ill bread deragnment syndrom thats how.
Bread will absolutely fill you up. The real problem is the peanut butter. Thats the kind of shit you feed starving african children because its so calorie dense.
If he replaced the 1.5 peanut butter sandwiches with cream cheese and ham, it would probably be like 400 calories, more protein and same satiety.

Hunger is genetic, and to a certain extent willpower, so that's true almost 99% of the time, but you can always beat it if you put your foot down. Just keep dropping calories until it works.

      What is wrong with carbs?

Many reasons for this. Starting with the most obvious: your idea of “barely eating anything” is way off. I’ve seen people claim they were practically starving themselves, and they were still consuming over 2000 calories a day. You need to count all of your calories, especially those in liquid form.
Another reason for could be that your daily activity was lowered. It’s not uncommon for people to get more lazy on a cut, which can balance out the deficit and put them at maintenance.
And finally, if you are a noob in the gym, it’s quite possible you are gaining muscle proportionally to the fat you are losing, however, you would notice a difference in the mirror if this was the case.

If you're 10kg overweight you could survive 38.5 days without EATING ANYTHING.
That's 924 hours of without food.
Think again before you say you can't lose weight.

    That's unhealthy anon.

You will just end up eating more the next day to compensate.

You have to be patient and continue to push even when you're not losing weight.

We all hit the wall multiple times.

Your mind has gone into starvation mode. Essentially you've starved your brain of vital nutrients by having such a shit diet that it's now moronic and makes up lies about not being able to lose weight despite eating at a calorific deficit.

The high protein meme works. Research backs it up now too.
The leanest, strongest, and best shape I was in my life I was on a budget and I was pretty much only eating eggs, beef, dairy (whatever cheese was on sale, and usually cottage cheese), rice, fruit, and my protein powder. I was easily eating my bodyweight in grams of protein each day. 180lbs lean as frick at 5'10 and high energy.
