The beauty of IST is that you can find some really awesome advice. The problem with IST is that the good advice is usually hidden among mountains of misinformation.

It's a constant dynamic and ongoing IQ test. I think it somehow requires you to have a level of "intuition intelligence". The ability to trust your gut on things, and have your gut be right most of the time.

yes, yes, tret is magic and isotret is typically the silver bullet if your cycstic acne is chronic.
if i were you i’d get off asap if you can just sustain the cleared skin while sacrificing the ‘dewy’ look. sunscreen and moisturizer twice a day is woman tier and if you don’t do the deed your face will burn.
sunscreen and moisturizer will give you good collagen and protection but not the collagen that tret gives. you also won’t get the wet shiny look but guess what my skin care routine is 1 minute and doesn’t burn my face
go to lookism forums for uncensored and mentally ill levels of research and explanation when it comes to skin care, fashion, skull shape, teeth, all things cosmetic. they are fricked in the head and will make you feel like shit but they have calculated beauty

Argireline to prevent wrinkles, tret for the collagen production/removing wrinkles + Astaxanthin for DHT and balancing out hormones/preventing hair loss, working out to keep the body healthy.

Isn't tret really hard on your face in the long term if you dont stick to a strict moisturizer routine? I read somewhere else that you shouldn't rely too much on it for a extended periord of time as it can give you this weird alwys shiny complexion in your face.

it’s recommended to go above .05% once you do it daily - after a couple of years you will need to moisturize twice a day but your skin will tell you: sunscreen is crucial.

I don’t wash my face / how to get clear skin, a rant.
    -
Did you guys know the skincare industry is one of the biggest in the world? Ever try Epiduo, Proactiv, or any of those brand name “acne healing kits” and find your skin even more dry or just not correcting whatsoever? It’s because it’s bullshit. These products are filled with lab - produced chemicals that your skin, the largest organ you have, directly absorbs. I had acne my entire life, ENTIRE.. until I started deep diving my own health and figuring out what works / doesn’t for my body.
    -
Here’s a TLDR on what I’ve implemented that cleared my skin rapidly.
    - Eliminating “inflammatory” foods, everyone’s body is different but the BIGGEST culprits that a majority if not all people should remove are; seed oils, processed foods, dairy, & artificial sweeteners. Elimination based diets are a great place to start (AIP, Carnivore, are the two I used)
    - Intermittently Fast / Take breaks from food
    - Healing the gut, as soon as I did this my skin cleared instantly (collagen, bone broth, BEEF LIVER)
    - QUALITY sleep (7 hours of true deep sleep minimum, consistently)
    - A LOT of water, a gallon a day preferred.
    - DAILY sweat sessions (either sauna or gym.. SWEAT)
    - Cold Immersion to help quell additional inflammation (showers or tubs)
    - Limit caffeine
    - MANAGE stress
    - Optimize Vitamin D / Hormone levels (blood work) daily Sunlight / vitamin D
    -
And yes, I understand some people have chronic cystic acne and harsh medications are sometimes recommended to destroy / speed up the process of getting rid of acne.. if that’s you than by all means do what you must, however I’ve seen many anecdotal evidence / stories on complete remission of cystic acne through lifestyle & dietary changes as well.

IST is actually moronic. It is probably the least informed place outside of a youtube comments section for some parasocial egoyoutuber like Natural Hypertrophy. I'm just stuck here because I don't roid so I can't go on those private bodybuilding forums

I'm not reading anything in this thread other than the OP. If you Black folk, as men, do more than clean your face with soap at least once a day you are actually a homosexual. You literally don't need to do anything beyond that for skin care assuming you actually drink a healthy amount of water and go outside regularly. I will not be returning.

When have IST ever said this? If anything, I've heard more people say you need a skincare routine than anything.
