    >Ethical
So they arbitrarily decide that mammals and birds are more valuable life forms than bugs and plants, therefore eating them is unethical?
Why can't I decide that eating bugs is unethical

Also mass-scale agriculture is far from sustainable. It destroys the soil

Less noicicepors or something? Idk, it’s less clear that bugs feel pain. We know they can’t feel love tho
But unlike vertebrates bugs breed crazy fast with much fewer resources, plus they’re so dissimilar from us that barely any of the diseases they carry even affect us.

Isn't there research coming out that chitin from insects is indigestible and is linked to cancers like glioblastomas

Bugs absolutely feel pain. But the question is, do they suffer?

    how is meat not sustainable?
    law of diminishing returns
the amount of insect or plant protein needed to feed a grown man directly correlates with space.
eventually the space becomes the same amount as a cow.

Supposedly cow farts are killing the planet or something.

It's just lefty gnomish retard logic. Just like how they think inflation is not inherently caused by printing money.

        Anonymous

It isn't, it's caused by consumer spending. Of course, if the currency is devalued that will inherently increasing spending.

That doesn't make any sense so it must be wrong.

            >consumer buys more stuff
            >manufacturer must make more stuff to meet demand
            >increased demand raises prices as manufacturers must employ more staff to meet demand
            >lower unemployment = more money in economy = more consumption = more demand
This can be artificially devaluing the currency (supply/demand graph) thereby further accelerating the inflationary cycle. Generally, inflation also comes with increased wages to attract more employees. However, there has been little real wage growth plus currency devalution.

Bug protein is mostly tied up in chitin and is thus not as bioavailable as meat, it's riddled with parasites that can transfer to humans, when scaled to the protein needs of a grown human it takes the same amount of resources, it's lacking in nutrients compared to meat products, among a host of other bullshit
