ed(?)

dont really know where to post this sorry also LONG post warning

basically from september to December i had a kinda bad relationship with food where i would limit my calorie intake to under 900 mon-fri, under 1600 on weekends and a lot of days i just ate under 500. i lost about 40ish lbs in those months without really exercising much(avg of 6k steps a day). at the start i weighed about 190lbs and got down to 150. started at 17 years old(18 now), im 5'3 and im a girl so idk if that affects weight stuff.

ive heard everywhere that restricting your caloric intake that much will cause your body to go into starvation mode and make it really hard to lose weight later, but that didnt happen to me?

in January i started eating normal again (maintenance is about 1700 ish), i was eating intuitively and this month i started really making sure to just avoid snacking and eat nutritionally balanced. i havent rly exercised much, but ive still been losing weight, just much slower.

since January, ive lost about 7lbs (most was lost this month) despite eating a good amount and just averaging 9k steps a day. i weigh 143 now.

SO HERE'S MY QUESTION do you guys think I'll be fine if i go back to my old restricting? i only stopped because my bf at the time was gonna break up with me if i didnt fix it and i almost passed out like twice, but nothing too bad other than that.

Skip breakfast everyday. You'll lose weight. Up the intensity of your workout. Also stop stuffing your face hog

i never eat breakfast to begin with, typically what i eat in a day is half a sald from my schools cafeteria and some dinner which ive mostly been trying to get meals that have under 300 calories and 20g or more of protein. ive been having more coffee lately because of school work but i just get black coffee with very light creamer. im not really struggling to lose weight rn, just wondering if it would be stupid to go back to my old eating habits. though i will likely try to do more cardio.

        >It's either following a shitty diet that makes me feel bad or staying fat
I don't get the fatty mentality tbh. You can cook yourself delicious meals and still stay fit. I was skinny but maintained the weight and got more muscle while eating like a pig. Up the intensity of your workout and stop relying solely on your diet, hog

Your hair looks so nice on the second pic, a shame none of the fat goes to your breasts though, you'd be a real baddie without even doing anything if it did

to answer your question yes it's the same, obviously it's better to prioritize exercise over not eating but everyone finds their own way ig

fat distribution really screwed me over by putting all of it in my arms and not my boobs, i literally have stayed the exact same chest size now vs when i was 190lbs. thank you for the hair compliment though 😀 then yeah I'll likely just go back to restricting. my goal is to get down to 130s or 120s then work on building muscle for ass and abs.

    Reminder anons:
This is not a woman posting. It's a mentally ill, unhinged, unemployed, unloved, friendless failure of a man child cosplaying as a female to get any kind of attention in his sad little life. If you engage with him you are basically entering a homosexual roleplay.
    Be warned.

        >eating at maintenance
        >still losing
then youre not eating at maintenance
        >9k steps
        thats ~300kcal
        >do you guys think I'll be fine if i go back to my old restricting?
dont do extreme shit that will mess with you health, diet down and maintain normal bmi(dont go below normal or youll look/feel like shit too) and youre beating >70% of women in the usa.

after youve done that, then you can think about bettering yourself through exercise, gym.. you can go 2 paths: cardiobunny or the eternal hip thruster, but there is 3rd: bulgarian split squat - this is only proven way for for big ass gains. the hip thrusts are a meme, dont trust

post your hand holding it, if you have man hands then it'll be easy to tell

badd advice, op should eat breakfast.

    Eat ur breakfast op.

Her breakfast should be high in protein and some carbs that will sustain for the energy needed for the rest of her day. Nutrient dense breakfasts stop u from eating like shit for the rest of the day, and help with metabolism. op, if you really wanna restrict and see good results, eat a nutrient dense breakfast (before 9:45am) and little to nothing else after.

btw only breakfast should have carbs, lunch and dinner should be fat and protein (no to little carbs).

Greek yoghurt is a safe option for the breakfast, add it to anything.

also breakfast should be the most nutrient dense and filling meal of the day, so the meals after that should get lighter and lighter. Dinner should be the lightest meal of the day, it’s not necessary to have dinner tbh.

Also don’t eat after 6pm. Exercise. Obviously no calories in drinks (so only drink water and herbal teas etc. Avoid shakes, alcohol, energy drinks, juice etc.). No processed junk, tht includes health/gymslop like protein bars etc.
