Even gayer than ego lifting

why are perfect formtards such homosexuals?
theres more ego to their 'le perfect rep' than anyone else at the gym

My friend does this, he's still a novice but hides behind form as an excuse to not lift heavy. Ironically, spotted him at the gym and his bench form was half rep bodybuilder nonsense.

There's another dyel at my gym that was teaching another dyel the deadlift and all his cues were shit and he underloaded the bar (dyel 2 was rowing the 50kg instead of having to break from floor as barbell was too light)

I'm a cuck that prefers having perfect form than lifting heavy. Fite me.

i am a huge homosexual indeed but the only reason i obsess over form is because ive basically been permanently injured for about five years now. takes me like three minutes just to even get into position for a squat, gotta line up everything and have everything symmetrical. i know it really doesnt matter but my ocd just flares up and i feel like every rep is just wrong and is damaging my body if i do anything in what i feel is subpar form.

Yea, form is always the priority. I started focusing on form when I began, thankfully I had a coach in high school who was also drill instructor who basically got me into weights. The dude changed my life for the better.
With that said, he always emphasized form. He also taught us not to “cheat” on reps, and the key to this was consistently being focused.

I can’t ever remember him saying anything about going heavy or even advocating 1 rep max type workouts. I do know he would spot guys aiming for them, so he wasn’t against them, he just never taught it. He always emphasized proper form.

With that said I have never experienced a weight lifting related unjustly (knock on wood). All my injuries are from playing sports (sprains etc.)

I am so glad I'm not as fragile as these idiots think they, and everyone else, must be. Just lift incrementally heavier shit and stop nocebo'ing yourself with meme nonsense.

You can make an exercise harder by using more difficult leverages and slower rep cadences, maintaining intensity (and results) with less injury risk. This isn't the same thing as the whole perfect form broscience but it's what I do. I don't see the point in the powerlifting mentality unless you're competing. It's completely pointless. I can bench about 130kg if I use all the powerliftard tricks, and barely 100-110kg with like superslow HIT form. I've been lifting 20 years (natty) and never had an injury, never needed a physio, never needed a massage. Every single ego lifter I know has had multiple injuries and the older they get the worse it is.

      post body.
      Let's see what you've got.
I know plenty of guys with your mentality that lift for years and look absolutely the same, same guys that say everybody is on roids.

This but without the extra salt. I'm just genuinely interested in what that style of lifting does for you.

OP is the exact type of homosexual that says "yeah bro I can do 20 pull ups" and when you watch him "do" some, he does 1/4 ROM pull ups. I´d go a step further and say simply putting your chin over the bar is not enough. A real pull up is up to the top of your chest at a minimum. I guarantee you OP cannot do a true pull up to save his life lmao

Perfect reps requires more effort hence creates more tension thus providing more gains, so shut the frick up homosexual.
