Exercise is a form of stress. Stress ages you faster, makes you ugly and will ultimately kill you

We think of exercise as being inherently healthy - Why?

What is working out, fundamentally? It is subjecting your body to stress. Stress releases cortisol, which causes inflammation, ages you and shortens your lifespan.

Think about it. What do animals do in nature? Do they force themselves to exercise? No, they lay around all day, avoid difficulty and try to keep their body and mind in a state of comfort and low stress as much as possible. Our human habit of exercise is completely socially conditioned, unnatural and harmful.

Intense cardio exercise in particular has been shown to significantly interfere with proper hormone production, including T-levels in men. It also damages the heart severely by making it pump up to 5 gallons of volume per minute, exponentially more than your resting heart rate.

What is hypertrophy? It is your muscle adapting to stress. You subjected your muscle to intense stress so it had to adapt and get bigger so it wouldn’t get damaged again. But then you damage the same muscle again with progressively more and more stress over time! This is terrible for your body in the long run.

Exercise is completely unnatural and is killing you. You do it because artificial, ma made society and life trauma has conditioned you to be mentally ill. You have an inferiority complex and feel the need to punish yourself with exercise in order to feel like you’re “good enough”.

Stop exercising.

Nope. There’s no part of a woman’s brain that says “I am biochemically attracted to older men because I myself am now older”. That doesn’t make any sense whatsoever. There’s no evolutionary reason why that would happen

You liked hot girls with big breasts when you were 13, and you will like hot girls with big breasts where you’re 103. Female attraction is no different.

Not true, women develop different tastes as they get older. I don't mean 40 year olds suddenly giving stable guys a chance btw, I mean actual attraction. 21 year old women in their prime prefer rugged and built men over pretty boys.

Your example of men liking the same thing at all ages is pretty fallacious. It's known that women's preferences change while they're ovulating, let alone years later after their tastes are more refined. Eventually women want a man, not a boy.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sudden_cardiac_death_of_athletes

    >It remains a difficult medical challenge to prevent the sudden cardiac death of athletes, typically defined as natural, unexpected death from cardiac arrest within one hour of the onset of collapse symptoms, excluding additional time on mechanical life support.[1] (Wider definitions of sudden death are also in use, but not usually applied to the athletic situation.)

    >The single most important predictor is fainting or near-fainting during exercise, which should require detailed explanation and investigation.[2]

    >The victim is usually male and associated with soccer, basketball, ice hockey, or American football, reflecting the large number of athletes participating in these sustained and strenuous sports.[3] For a normally healthy age group, the risk appears to be particularly magnified in competitive basketball, with sudden cardiac death rates as high as one per 3,000 annually for male basketball players in NCAA Division I.[19]

    >However, a population as large as the United States will experience the sudden cardiac death of a competitive athlete at the average rate of one every three days, often with significant local media coverage heightening public attention.[17]

Getting punched in the face for a living doesn't necessarily age you, but you will get a lot of scarring which will make you look rougher. Plus UFC fighters almost all stress the shit out of their systems twice or more a year when they go through a camp and weight cut. That takes its toll on your body.
I don't buy that UFC fighters are aesthetically pretty, even the prettiest active fighter (I think that's Mackenzie Dern) still has a lot of rough edges.
What makes them attractive is their ultra high level of fitness (aside from heavyweights obviously) and their mental toughness/confidence.

And the goalposts keep on moving.
So now, resistance training is good for you, but only at a certain level of intensity, and we're back to the midwit truism of "thing is good for you in moderation and possibly bad for you in excess".

No shit the average 80 year old isn't lifting the same kind of weight with the same kind of frequency or intensity as a 30 year old. But that's not what you said in your OP. You told us exercise = bad, stress = bad, cortisol = bad. You are wrong on all 3 counts.

I didn’t move any goalposts, I graciously and open mindedly asked you a follow up question about your spurious study, very nobly showing that I’m open being proved wrong about this (I’m not wrong)

And no, I have absolutely said that low intensity physical activity is good for you IN THIS THREAD. I am now saying that the recommended ST routine for a 65 and older person would likely fit the description “low intensity physical activity”, unlike the deliberately misleading power lifter image you posted, and I even invited you to provide this information and prove me wrong, which you failed to do

Climbing, hiking steep hills, carrying semi heavy objects etc are all examples of NATURAL low intensity physical activity, which unless I’m wrong is probably similar to the guideline concordant ST the study refers to

                >I am now saying that the recommended ST routine for a 65 and older person would likely fit the description “low intensity physical activity”, unlike the deliberately misleading power lifter image you posted, and I even invited you to provide this information and prove me wrong, which you failed to do
There IS NOT A SPECIFIC STRENGTH PROGRAMME RECOMMENDED FOR SENIORS.
It is merely recommended that they do strength training twice a week.
                >I am now saying that the recommended ST routine for a 65 and older person would likely fit the description “low intensity physical activity”,
What counts as "Low intensity" for a strong old man who worked manual labour for some or all of his life will be unbearable intense for someone else who lived a different lifestyle. Intensity and difficulty are completely and 100% relative to the individual, which is why doctors DO NOT prescribe a specific ST regime for the elderly, or anyone else for that matter.

                >carrying semi heavy objects
What is a "semi heavy" object? Something that weighs 10kg? 30kg? 50kg? Why is it good for your health to carry a "semi heavy" object but not to lift "semi heavy" weights?
Power lifters are a tiny minority of the population that engages in resistance training. The majority of lifters train in the 5-15 rep range. If you can lift a weight 10 times in a row, for three sets of 10, surely it can't be more than "semi heavy"?

I redirect you to the OP, where you made a demonstrably wrong, sweeping generalisation

                >Exercise is completely unnatural and is killing you
                >What is working out, fundamentally? It is subjecting your body to stress. Stress releases cortisol, which causes inflammation, ages you and shortens your lifespan.
                >Stop exercising.

So now steep hillwalking and lifting "semi heavy" objects are good for you? Aren't these activities "exercise"? I thought exercise was killing us?

I’ve already answered the question about exercise. Light, natural physical activity vs intense, high stress, straining exercise

A semi heavy object would be an object that has some weight and resistance but that you can move without strain. This is natural physical activity, for example how you would drag a carcass of an animal you hunted in nature, or carry materials to build shelter

An example of high strain exercise would be a one rep max dead lift

                >Light, natural physical activity vs intense, high stress, straining exercise

What is a "natural physical activity"? It sure isn't steep hillwalking in artificial boots. Our ancestors didn't climb steep hills recreationally.

                >A semi heavy object would be an object that has some weight and resistance but that you can move without strain
How much weight is that? For how long should you be able to lift a weight before it is too light or too heavy to qualify as "semi heavy"?

Why is dragging an animal carcass good for my health but sled pulls aren't? Why is steep hillwalking good for my health but incline treadmill or stairmaster isn't? Why is carrying materials to build a shelter good for my health but farmer's carries aren't?

God I fricking hate you homosexuals that romanticise the primitive lifestyle.

                >An example of high strain exercise would be a one rep max dead lift

Like I said, most lifters don't do 1RMs. If you want to make a thread arguing against powerlifting specifically, then fine. This isn't that thread. This is the thread that said "exercise is bad, stress is bad, working out is bad, lifting weights is bad".

You’re trying really hard to make it seem like I’ve somehow been unclear but it’s very obvious that you know exactly what I’m saying and are deliberately trying to play dumb.

Here’s a general rule: If your facial expression is a strained, intense grimace and you’re breathing too hard to talk, then you’re doing stressful exercise. If your facial expression is calm, happy or focused and you can carry on a conversation while doing it, it’s healthy light physical activity.

Before you say this is something pulled out of my ass, Pavel Tsatsouline uses the exact same examples to define a healthy running pace.

                Anonymous

I'd take what Tsatsouline says with a grain of salt, because in one books he's say that HIIT is for homosexuals (his editors change it to "sissies", but we all know), and in another - that LISS is for homosexuals.

In any case, being able to talk is another rough test of being within the capacity of your aerobic system, but it's less about safety and more about training the right energy system, because once you turn on your lactate system you're not (at least in the LISS school of thought) exercising your aerobic system optimally.

Just to be clear, are you claiming that all anaerobic activity is ultimately detrimental to health? You're claiming that anything which temporarily spikes cortisol is axiomatically bad for you? You're claiming that "stress" (however you're defining it, which isn't clear at all) is automatically, inherently and always bad for your health?

                Yeah

Many male actors in lead roles use steroids to play a certain character and don’t look ugly. Van Damme was a lifelong athlete and fitness enthusiast. Tom Hardy doesn’t look like that after doing a cycle to play Bane.

Also claiming that “steroids age you and stress your body in a way that natty body building does not” is just an insane claim. It’s a difference only in the degree of damage, not the type of damage it’s doing to you.

We’ve already debunked “fighting” as something that makes your face look bad or aged. It’s just simply not true. Getting punched in the face does not give you fricking wrinkles. It’s an absurd claim to make and is not an opinion you ever held before in your life until you entered this thread. Stop coping.

He also stopped competing in martial arts and kickboxing at age 22, before his film career took off. So no, that is not what aged him, especially since most of his fights were in semi-contact karate kickboxing which literally doesn’t allow punches to the face

Johnny Depp is also WAY MORE of a drug addict than Van Damme ever was, and he looks much better because he didn’t subject himself to all that strain, stress and cortisol production

      Great points

Sunlight is like salt or water. You need some, but too much will kill you.

An up to an hour of sunlight art a time with no sunblock is good and makes your skin look better (sunblock also blocks vitamin D absorption). Any more gives you damaged skin, sunburn and possibly cancer. Avoid the point of diminishing returns

Sport is an invention of the Industrial Revolution. in England You are thinking of "Exercise" which is completely different. For example, there is no measure of performance in "exercise", but there is in "sports". There is no competition in "exercise", there is in "sports" and so on. What we understand as "working out" and what people did before "sports" appeared is comlpletely different to each other. Most conditioning exercises from before WW2 would maybe be high school warm ups today.

How about you do some research on the history of training? It's pretty enlightening, to say the least. Oh, an by the way, most people you fanboy are, indeed, israeli. While I agree, animals are doing shit all the time because they have to and their genes are adapted to that level of activity. Humans are the same, so ideally you want to stimulate the body to the degree a healthy human would be doing in order to survive. If anything, being weak and unfit is such a miserable experience that a sacrifice of bit of longevity is probably worth it for most people.

homosexual OP, I see your point in the exertion of physical exercises having potentially degrading effects on quality of life, especially with the philosophies that are espoused ("no pain, no gain") However,
there have been many societies as in the past and now that have place an emphasis on physical conditioning/workouts among the upper strata (i.e. nobility/royalty) These people exerted themselves, fought on battlefields, and they were not any lesser for it when it comes to governance, rulership, culture development, etc. Not only this, these people enjoyed a long life that was enriching because of their honing of the body and the mind. Many examples litter the history pages; the Germanics that fought those mighty Roman legions, the Vedic Aryans who crafted a system of metaphysics that endures to this day, those knights of Europe who brought forth chilvary, not to mention the various East Asian empires that birthed many of the practiced fighting systems today. So, OP, I can concur with the degradation of today's efforts at physical exertion, but this does not mean that all-together physical conditioning should be abandoned altogether if one wishes be hoi-polloi. In my opinion, there should be a review of how to condition oneself for a better body, mind, and life and if required, a reform of these practices.

    >We aimed to understand the association between meeting strength training guidelines and future mortality in an older US adult population.

    >During the study period, 9.6% of NHIS adults age 65 and older (N=30,162) reported doing guideline-concordant ST and 31.6% died. Older adults who reported guideline-concordant ST had 46% lower odds of all-cause mortality than those who did not (adjusted odds ratio: 0.64; 95% CI: 0.57, 0.70; p<0.001).
    > The association between ST and death remained after adjustment for past medical history and health behaviors.

    >Although a minority of older US adults met ST recommendations, guideline-concordant ST is significantly associated with decreased overall mortality.

The guidelines don't prescribe a specific strength-training regimen (nor should they, as individuals vary too greatly for this to be useful), they just recommend strength training at least twice a week.

For all we know the guy in the pic, or guys training as intensively as him, were part of the cohort in this study.

The main problem with the study is that it is only an association and it is subject to significant healthy user bias, i.e., any c**t 65 or over working out is far more likely to be doing other things that improve his overall health.

That's why there's the notion of a safe heart rate, which is estimated at 220 minus your age. It's considered that exercise below that heart rate is guaranteed to be beneficial, because it increases efficiency if your aerobic system (aka reduces heart rate for all future activities), while causing no damage. That's why people with heart conditions are supposed to walk a lot.

    Endurance training and testosterone levels

    >Abstract: Research has shown that chronic exposure to prolonged endurance training can result in disturbances within the reproductive physiological and endocrinological systems of humans. Until recently, research has focused on exercise training induced disruptions within female athletes. Within the last several years, however, studies have suggested that endurance training may have significant effects on the male reproductive system. The evidence suggests endurance training significantly affects the major male reproductive hormone, testosterone. At rest testosterone appears to be lower in the endurance-trained male than in the untrained male. The mechanism of this lowering is currently unclear, but may be related to dysfunctions within the hypothalamic-pituitary-testicular regulatory axis. This assumption has been based upon abnormalities in the resting testosterone levels and pituitary release of luteinising hormone and prolactin. Potentially, the lowered testosterone levels could disrupt reproductive and androgenic processes within the male.

                Link study or rope israelite
There are many studies with direct correlation to physical stress and testosterone levels increasing.

Testosterone levels have more to do with diet then exercise itself. Hormonal changes in testosterone in women have an entirely diffrent function then in men.

And cortisol levels have a direct correlation with testosterone levels. Cortisol does have negative effects but one they are raised temporarily from exercise, you can reduce it to near 0 levels with a shower or sauna treatment.

This is why the healthiest people are those who exercise and sauna/steam regularly

op is coping nerd rationalizing his söyboy lifestyle. there's a difference between looking young and longevity itself. excess protein is bad for longevity, but good for looking young. too much exercise if bad for both, while moderate exercise (<60 minutes of zone 2 or 3 a day) is good for both (if u don't do it under the sun that is). there's passive autophagy and cellular repair going on all the time, and if u let ur capillary networks etc atrophy with your sedentary söyboy lifestyle ur body will just be less effective in doing that, more so in extremities like hands and feet, but will show in face and hair too

skin and collagen are absolutely trivial to keep perfect for anyone who isn't a midwit and isn't afraid to do some things differently (for example not lounging under the sun to the same extent as is considered fashionable). the bigger problem for visual youth, eventually, is ur bones gradually deforming. and proper exercise, diet and cardiovascular health is absolutely vital for preventing that. also stuff like sleeping on your back

    t. ppl think i'm 14-16. yes having a small twink skeleton and no facial hair does a lot of it. but i do keep my skin and bones in peak condition. i care about longevity, but visual longevity for me is more important. so i do cardio and weights and eat protein slightly more than would be optimal if i wanted to maximize longevity alone. but i'm not an ugly nolife for who that would make sense, waiting to survive until singularity to finally get a gf lmao

post routine or whatever you do for longveity

        Anonymous

i wouldn't call it "routine" because it's quite light
        low stress lifestyle
organic whole foods. animal fats. whey and glycine supplementation for collagen production
30 minutes zone 3 cardio a day (zone 2 would be slightly better, but it's not a huge difference at only 30 minutes) and some weights (at my body fat % and composition (no visceral fat lol) muscles are quite visible)
one meal a day or two (fasted cardio is a bit more cortisol but idc)
3-4 day fast nearly monthly. i start from slight energy deficiency of past few days so autophagy comes faster. i don't do keto cope or diabetes medicine cope shit and just endure the hunger like a man

i wear cap outside and avoid excessive direct sunlight, sunscreen if more active during daytime. never needed skincare. didn't do any meme fasting mimicking compounds etc that are popular in the anti-ageing crowd yet. or any more esoteric supplements than just calcium and other micronutrients. just spermidines lol. but i will when i have more disposable income (in particular neurogenesis inducing ones seem very important to me long term, and what these nerds should also be prioritizing), but i'm very content with what i have now already because fasting is imo just so powerful (if ur not fatty, nor doing it for weight loss, and importantly: u refeed properly afterwards). also i didn't always do cardio, because tbh i was coping in same way as op, but imo it noticeably improves the effectiveness of autophagy

i let none of these get in the way of life. if someone cool wants to eat with me, the silly omad gets ditched that day. nor do i religiously avoid substances, sugars, fast food or other "vices" either, nor some of the lamer stuff like never cooking on hot surfaces because AGEs etc LMAO. everything in moderation

also cortisol, oxidation, inflammation are needed by the body too, and it's counter-productive trying to eliminate them completely like some autist if u already had normal levels of them

You're 26 years old, and you work as an HR specialist for the Calvert Companies. While you were in high school, your girlfriend cheated on you with the football teams quarter back, thus beginning your crusade against working out. I know you'll deny this Thomas, but it's ok. It happened a long time ago. It's time for you to move on

Why would I ever give a shit if some PATHETIC LOSER and homosexual on the internet who has NEVER HAD SEX IN HIS LIFE believes me or not?

You didn’t post a picture of your physique either. Besides, even if I posted a Dolph Lungren level physique, you would still just type “LOL!” and critique it in bad faith pathetically

          >17 years and that’s the best you’ve got?

Pathetically effeminate bad faith response here. Just because someone works out regularly means they’re actively trying to break more and more personal records and become the best athlete possible. For most people exercise is maintenance

How long have you been lifting? Go on. Let’s apply that same standard to you. How much can you bench after all these years? Go. Come on homosexual, let’s hear it.

You are a SICKENING homosexual. The type of weak beta male who “disagrees” without any counter argument and expresses pathetic bad faith, fake opinions adopted in the moment, like a WOMAN would do. Suck my dick.

I “challenged myself” to reach 100 push-ups, and then I was happy to coast on that achievement, which still puts me FAR above the average person, because fitness and athletics isn’t my main interest in life and I’m not just going to just spend the rest of my days endlessly working to increase my push-up count purely for the sake of it.

Why can’t you speak fluent Spanish? Why don’t you have a degree in physics? Why can’t you do a standing backflip and stick the landing? COME ON homosexual, WHY AREN’T YOU CONSTANTLY CHALLENGING YOURSELF? Because you don’t care about achieving those things.

Any old fool will claim that their arguments are well-reasoned and thought out. It doesn't change the fact that it's a bunch of bullshit however, you're simply too blind to self-assess your own values and beliefs.
                >Logical arguments are logical arguments, no matter who is making them. 2+2=4, regardless of whether the person saying it is a jacked bodybuilder or 300 lbs, you worthless, low IQ, dysgenically brain dead piece of shit.
This is true, but you haven't made a single logical argument so far so it doesn't matter kek
                >I “challenged myself” to reach 100 push-ups, and then I was happy to coast on that achievement, which still puts me FAR above the average person
The average person has done plenty of things similar to this, this is nothing special. What is special is the drive to keep improving: instead of chasing some far off goal, you chase an extra rep, an extra 5 pounds, etc. No matter how small, you always try to improve. This does not simply apply to lifting, this applies to life in general. You do not seem to possess this trait, so why should I care?
                >Why can’t you speak fluent Spanish? Why don’t you have a degree in physics? Why can’t you do a standing backflip and stick the landing?
I suppose you don't have the same mental representations as I do, but to put it simply we can divide our goals into three spheres: physical, mental, and spiritual. If you neglect any of these, you are sorely lacking important traits. I don't need to speak fluent Spanish and get a degree in physics (though physics is great) because I have other goals in the mental realm that fulfill this role. You seem to lack physical goals entirely, which is a fatal flaw. Shut the frick up

Girls and sons who have not been loved by their fathers seek attention once teens and adults to compensate for what they didn't have originally. Fathers either left them alone, or were distant most of the time and not encouraging them. Some even despised them which would shape their personality and the way they interact with others for the rest of their life. They are extremistic in everything they do, always looking exaggeratly for attention (Hello Goodrum), and have troubles adapting to society's rules, because they also have troubles defining their own identity and respecting authority and hierarchy.

Also boys who got picked on by others during childhood and adolescence -often sons without a father figure- try to compensate by lifting weights, to develop muscles and survive in ther male world. They're insecure because they're girly, childish, feminine having been raised by a single mom. They lift obsessively hoping it will transform them into men, to compensate for their lack of influence from a father figure that was not there. Unfortunately they can get as big as they can but it doesn't cure their insecurity and who they truly are, how they grew up being raised by a single mom. They're not as manly as other men whatever they do, and they often have a big lack of masculine presence they don't know how to balance, hence often being borderline homosexuals while trying to get their manhood back through various manly activities (MMA, cars, weight lifting etc.).

They are often the ones that, in order to get respect from other males, will go the steroids route to get even "bigger", attempting to cure their insecurity, but being natural not being "enough", they still feel "too small", insecure, amongst other males. The lack of a father figure also often means they didn't have guidance to continue studies and are often working shitty manual jobs.

Interesting. What about the causes behind steroid abusing female bodybuilders with dysmorphia? I seriously feel like some kind of sexual abuse from a male may have something to do with it, trying to become stronger than their abuser or something

What is the purpose of this dogshit thread? You should be piled on like the moron insulting pullups.
Excercise makes you feel good because you aren't being a sedentary homosexual, sedentarism is one of the major causes of death all around; old asians were not sedentary in their youth and they are certainly not sedentary in their old age, they are active in a way their body allows them to with walking and gardening, also stay mentally active. If excercise strains you, and you feel like you are punishing yourself; you are a fat frick with the wrong mentality for fitness. Excercise, whatever it may be should be fun to you; if you need to make yourself excercise for societal standards then lifting is not for you and you should try some other shit like biking, hiking, climbing, swimming, etc; lifting is fun for me because it disconnects me from my problems and helps process emotions, instead of writing cope threads like op.
No shit some fighters look awful, but it isn't really about excercise; their faces are tense and dehydrated to make the cut and brace for a bad fricking time.
Marathon runners are extremes and should not be used as reference for average active lifestyles, that is skewing data in your favor homosexual. You know what is worse for your cardiovascular health than working moderately? (If you have super high bpm lifting weights you need to get yourself checked) being a sedentary frick content with walking an hour a day at ages 20-40.
I will not say I hope, for I know op won't be able to play with their grandkids because they get tired after 5 minutes. A decently performing ISTard will be carrying them on their shoulders and making space ship sounds.

      Anonymous

      >If you have super high bpm lifting weights you need to get
High intensity exercise of any kind naturally spikes your heart rate anon. If your heart rate doesn't get high you're not lifting heavy enough or you're taking excessive rests. The important metric with exercise and activity in general is how quickly your heart rate and blood pressure recover when fully resting.
      >being a sedentary frick content with walking an hour a day at ages 20-40.
Not everyone is a NEET who has time to waste walking around for hours on end everyday. An hour of *actual* cardio per day is more than plenty, ~2.5 hours of zone 2 per week is optimal for health and longevity. And if you are sedentary, getting just 8k steps per day will stave off a wide variety of modern health problems, so even they can benefit from one hour of walking.

This makes sense, just look at the octogenarians, what they've done is live stress free life and just chill. They even have unhealthy habits that are linked to deaths like smoking but they are so relaxed they just shrug it all off.

    Stress is the killer.

Completely valid points and this is why strength training is the best form of gym exercise. Mark Rippentoe is 100% right about everything.

    >I work out, eat healthy. I'm the same age, yet look 10 years younger than I actually am.
Yeah, all that stress from working it is really destroying me.

Low IQ post. You don't need exercise to be slim. You just have to eat less. And eat good quality food made from fresh ingredients to be healthy and have a youthful skin.
It's true that any kind of exercise ages you, BUT being strong and muscular will make you a lot more socially successful. Marathons/cardio is the worst since it's a lot of prolonged effort with minimal effect. Strength training is the best if you care about looks and long term health.

I don’t know what this argument is about. I’m not reading all this shit and it’s probably not very interesting anyway. But my opinion is the opposite of the one that doesn’t want me to poomp my mooscles. And also that politics is a reddit hobby for gay homos.

No way you hate cute animals bro. Come on now. I don’t believe you.
        >Critically low testosterone from too much strenuous exercise
Nah my levels are average as of my blood work a few months ago. I work out a medium amount.

    Unfortunately you have it backwards
The only reason we exercise in the first place is because we eat too goddamn much
The mental illness lies with the food
If you ate one meal a day and didn’t work out you would live longer than someone who worked out and ate more
But you’ll keep eating more so you think you have to workout

Stopped reading after this. Cortisol is anti-inflammatory hormone. Have you ever heard of corticosteroids used to reduce inflammation?

OP is a dyel fat loser who probably went to the gym one time and had a bad experience or wasn’t satisfied with his “progress” so he just resorts to attempting to bring everybody down with him so he can cope better. Misery loves company, isn’t that what they say?

No, I worked out and did athletic activities all my life.

Someone made logical arguments and you responded with comments about them as a person. Thinking this is a valid response is considered a clinically reliable indicator of low IQ.

        >Someone made logical arguments
The second line in the OP is completely false
        >Stress releases cortisol, which causes inflammation
Cortisol doesn't cause inflammation, cortisol is actually anti-inflammatory, and your body releases it in response to inflammation. You haven't posed a single logical argument so there is no reason why we shouldn't frick with you lol

It is part of the inflammatory process which itself is harmful to the body

            Anonymous

Dude if you can't even get the function of cortisol right, why should I listen to you? And cortisol itself is not inherently bad, transient cortisol spikes are entirely normal, in fact your cortisol spikes just from waking up in the morning. Chronically elevated cortisol is bad, but transient spikes are okay. If you think that cortisol is inherently bad then you better be on a ton of cortisol blockers, otherwise you're a complete fricking hypocrite. And remember, while training also spikes cortisol (same as waking up in the morning), it also spikes testosterone, GH, and reduces myostatin. None of those things happen just from waking up in the morning, so if anything waking up in the morning is worse than training. Guess we should go to sleep and never wake up then kek

And thinking exercise is bad for you is a reliable indicator of being a fricking moron. You got btfo so many times in this thread that it’s hilarious. Just the fact that you refuse to post body is obviously that you are ashamed of yourself and took out your own self hatred in this thread trying to persuade people to stop lifting. And even if lifting is “bad” for you, so what? If it makes you die a few years earlier than normal, who fricking cares? Are you so obsessed with the material world that you cling to your meat body like a baby sucking his pacifier? Do you really want to stay on this planet ran by satanic pedos who rub their power in your face? I’d rather be a older looking chiseled man then some onions baby face loser who looks like he hasn’t exercised a day in his life. You’re a pathetic dyel who is trying to bring everyone here down to your level and no one here is having it. Gtfo or post body to back up your ludicrous claims.
