Explain this shit.

Since march 21st I went carnivore at the insistance of my optometrist. He noted I lost weight since my last visit (20lbs in one year). Started counting calories in January. 20 pounds in 82 days. I felt pretty fricking good about that. He suggested looking into carnivore since my chart showed prediabetes.

So I watched some videos as soon as I got home from the visit and decided to switch the next day. Number one thing I saw was "don't under eat"

Every day for the last 39 days I've eaten 18 hard boiled eggs deviled with butter and sour cream and 1.5lb of hamburger patties.

In 39 days I've lost another 20 pounds. My joint pain vanished on day 4. My "tennis elbow" that's been bothering me for two years from my job stopped hurting 10 days ago. And my gouty toe which has been itching every single day for the last 12 years stopped itching on the second week. I stopped my metformin amd my fasting glucose in the morning is averaging 90. Just 40 days ago, the morning of my optometrist visit it was 135.

I was running a 500 calorie deficit for the 20pounds I lost since January. I had constant cravings for junk food and snacks.

I haven't had a single craving for anything since the 25th, four days into my diet. Previously I had to consciously choose not to go down the snack aisle. I had to force myself to stay out of Mable's candy bowl at work. I had to force myself not to open the fridge at night.

Now I'm not even tempted by the snack aisle. I've got a bag of chips just sitting on the counter my friend left and it's not even tempting me. I don't get the urge to browse for food.

I was calculating my TDEE every week to meticulously make sure I was 500 under

And this is what I've been eating every day.

Every other day I've been buying two 18ct egg cartons, and a 3lb chub of ground beef. I make up hamburger patties and eat half on day 1 and the other half on day 2. Every morning I pressure cook the eggs and devil them with half a stick of melted butter and about 3 tablespoons of sour cream.

I don't feel "restricted" or that I'm "missing out". I walk to work without any joint pain.

And the biggest improvements: my depression disappeared entirely within a week, stopped those meds. And I'm hornier than I was as a teenager

Most hunger is psychological. Your body tells you it's hungry because it's conditioned to eat at certain times. Simply put, you're in a good mindset and so your body isn't feeling hungry because it has enough food to last for months. Keep up the progress.

First few months, you were losing weight and gaining muscle.
Last few months: you're now losing more weight than gaining muscle plus you're hitting more stubborn fat areas.

but why would his eye doctor be giving him these recommendations

because eating raw meat and organs heals everything, including eyes.

            sun-gazing helps as well.

Nice OP, keep it up. I always suggest it to my fat friends, it's like a cheat code. No feeling of restriction whatsoever. I'm not fat but I use it to cut for the summers and it's freakin crazy how fast the weight falls off.

    do you eat any fiber?

it seems like eating nothing but ground beef and deviled eggs would be a recipe for infrequent peanut butter shits

He's probably having that thing you hear about Keto where you basically don't shit. Ever.

not real, i’ve been eating like this for years and poop a perfect turd once per day at the same time every day. i don’t eat any fibre and don’t consume caffeine, so there’s nothing “making” me poop. like OP, my body utilises calories differently. i have to eat like 700 calories over my TDEE to maintain my weight.

It is absolutely real. I did keto for 3 months, staying under 10 carbs per day, and went 3 months without shitting.

So you were a disgusting lard bucket that ate obscene amounts of dogshit garbage everyday for years, you have stopped for a meme diet and you feel better. What exactly do you want us to explain. Anyways tell us how you feel in another 5 years

What's there to explain? Most protein sources are much less calorie dense than shit that you used to eat. Calorie deficit = weight drop. What you should do is add veggies, fish, nuts. Regular euro diet. The shit you're eating now is better than your previous diet, but is unsustainable because you're not hitting all micros and fiber.

    >at the insistence of my optometrist
Why is your eye doctor making dietary suggestions, OP?

Plant foods are a psyop. Carbs are pushed since they make people weaker and dumber. Eating pure red meat and water is the optimal human diet.
