Dodging Lorian's attacks is INCREDIBLY easy, but when you add in the RANDOM teleporting combined with the fact that the camera can completely frick you over depending on the circumstances make for a CHEAP and LAZY COP OUT endgame boss.

Elden ring was the first fromsoft game I’d ever played and I was able to get to that point by being a total shitter and smashing R2 heavies with 8+ ghizas wheel.

It took me at least a week to beat him, it seemed literally impossible. You literally just need to git gud, you can’t play like a shitter and beat him. Now I could kill him with my eyes closed it’s so easy.

Elden ring was a really hard game when I first picked it up now it’s almost boring. NG+2 your character is so OP and you’re conceivably pretty good and you’ve learned all the fights, it’s a snooze fest

        >do you think anyone would actually like playing From games if you died all the time
Yes. That's why everyone who plays these games have an elitist greater-than-thou attitude (magic builds don't count). It's no coincidence that after dark souls became popular everyone became a game critic and finish their critiques with "I actually LOVE difficult games BUT this game isn't difficult it's PUNISHING and I would know because I beat Dark Souls." Even DSP was saying this shit.

        >torturing themselves

      >do you think anyone would actually like playing From games if you died all the time

Steel sharpens steel. Playing against actual opponents challenges your wit, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities. The best man wins; as long as it's just a hobby and not another "career" to vivaciously live through.

Okay, George RR Martin. Maybe spend less time arguing nerd on a Tunisian speaker-repair forum and more time finishing your damn book.

      Sounds like a skill issue

This entire post reeks of cope. The people that hate the Soulsborne games are like the vegans of gamers.

kill one of the boss dragons, go to caelid, find the church of dragon communion, get the rotten breath incantation. inflicts scarlet rot on enemies, you can just run around and watch it eating away their health until they die

did my first playthrough by spamming jump attacks with dual greatswords because it was my first time playing a soulsborne and had no fricking clue what anything was. second time round i picked up morgotts sword, bloodhound fang, mohgs spear and used youtube tutorials to find every bloodflame incantation in the game. was a pain in the fricking ass, but the satisfaction you get from beating the game with a build you picked on a whim/aesthetics is fricking amazing

on my NG+ run I dual wielded the guts swords and put bloodhound's step on the main one
spent the whole run juking around every attack then powerstancing double jump
completely destroyed everything in the game, was really fun

I played through ds 1 and never parried and I was just done at that point came back to it maybe 5 years later and had to beat it with 3 pennies taped into my controller because it was so broken, hilariously easy boss I know but the penny “trick” led to my inputting cutting in and out

I never want to replay Dark Souls again that game is a slog

    Pullups

    DeS: Old King Allant
DS1: Bed of Chaos or Ornstein & Smough
    DS2: Smelter Demon
DS3: Dragonslayer Armor (best OST in the franchise imho)
ER: Malenia of course, but Commander Niall at Sol gave me a tough time the first go around as did Radagon
