he is a rich guy and you can make a lot of progress with a trainer not having to autistically worry about your form to start with.
The progress some of Omar Isuf clients make in 6 months is insane compared to some normies working out for 2 years.

people who use personal trainers suck for a few reasons. For one, they want to be spoonfed information on how to lift correctly but don't realize there are thousands of youtube videos of people who will eagerly do it for you for free and where you can go down deep rabbit holes learning about form/physiology/exercises on your own time and at no cost. Secondly, if they pay trainers for 2-3 days a week, they are basically paying a second rent's worth of money for someone to motivate them to exercise and be there at the gym... I know some people reason that if they pay for a trainer or pay their gym membership for a whole year in advance, it will be harder to justify skipping going to the gym because they're out so much money. Imagine having so little self-discipline and motivation that you can't even get yourself to show up at the gym and try to improve yourself without paying someone to crack the whip, it's depressing to imagine people like that honestly
It's different watching a youtube video vs someone actually observing you and pointing out your mistakes that you didn't notice. Of course that assumes that they are actually knowledgeable themselves and know what to look for.

This. I see a personal trainer once every 2 weeks at my gym, and I didn't even know I had multiple muscle imbalances until she observed me and pointed them out over the first few sessions. The biggest one was that my right rhomboid works much harder than my left, because I unconsciously raise my left shoulder while doing most exercises.

I don't think there's anything spoonfeeding about learning the rights and wrongs as quickly and efficiently as possible so you don't have to waste time.

Or you can go down deep rabbit holes with false perceptions of what's important or what's not important and waste a bunch of time doing so. For example I don't hink anyone could argue that watching MPMD videos are a complete waste of time, yet if you didn't have a trainer to set you straight on things that's the sort of thing you could end up doing.

Every trainer I see has their clients doing shit at random or even dangerous stuff like Smith machine with the safeties at the bottom. They are more for morale to people afraid of going to the gym alone than anything.
