Finally over

Well IST it’s been 8 long months. I decided to make a life change in mid December and went on a strict diet. I went from 240lbs to 194lbs. I think I’ve reached single digit bodyfat at this point.

I rented out a private gym on Friday to document my progress. Going to take a week off and enjoy the food I’ve been restricting all year and then start a bulk until next year.

      Yeah plan to be back next year with a few more pounds of muscle. Looking forward to making strength gains in the gym again.

      Please dont do this. 400 calories is way too much, that is 50lbs in a year. Think about it, you just lost 46lbs.
      You dont look like a beginner either, you can put like 3-5lbs of lean muscle mass at the very most in a year at this point. just please dont go on a bulk and ruin it
      just take a break from that strict diet and get used to eating at maintenance and slowly i mean very fucking slowly maingain and build up that strength. if you start losing your abs too quickly, you are doing it wrong. your cut should take like 2 months at most on a 500cal deficit so ~5lbs per month. Realistically you shouldn't go over 205lbs by the end of the year. If that's the extent of your bulk then that's fine.

      CICO diet. 200g protein daily.
      Weight lifting 5-6 days a week.
      Lot's of light/moderate cardio like a 90min morning walk or 90min on a stationary bike watching TV at night. I typically burn 1000 calories a day from that which let's me diet on 2500-3k calories and not be starving and miserable all the time.

    Real fucking nice bro, you must be what, 6'4, 6'5? I tried to do the same but nowhere near your level - Down from 242lbs to 198lbs from August last year. I'm 6'5 eating 1700 kcal currently but just dropped it to 1600 after hitting a plateau
