Water weight. All that goyslop you used to eat retains water like a sponge. Eventually it passes, and by not replacing it, you lose that weight. Now comes the hard part, watching your actual weight tick down, and not getting discouraged.

This 1st 10 lbs were water weight
if it's been 3 weeks then you're still eating too much. Drop the calories a little

I am willing to bet money that you went way too low on your calorie deficit and now your body thinks you are starving.
Diets under 500 calories below your maintain do not work.
Be at a max 500 deficit and add more cardio to your day.

I really hate that the myth of "starvation mode" is still being repeated.
Even if you went to 0 calories, your metabolism only slows down 5-15%.
It's not enough to make a noticeable difference in weight loss.

          hmm
maybe something i'm eating is actually a lot more calories than i thought then

Rummage through what you ate the past 24 hours.
Do a calorie count real quick and post it

        Think about it logically anon.
        Survival is top priority.
If you do not eat, your body will go into energy saving mode and make you do less.
Does it make sense for your body to keep you at 100% capacity when there is no food available?
Eating less than a 500 calorie deficit is the kind of stuff that puts you on an eating disorder and yoyo dieting in the long term.

I really hate that the myth of "starvation mode" is still being repeated.
Even if you went to 0 calories, your metabolism only slows down 5-15%.
It's not enough to make a noticeable difference in weight loss.

        >people are hurt by something
        >They believe cutting it out completely or aggressively will make them happy
        >they convince themsleves they are not trying hard enough
The key is balance. By eating a diet you can maintain for life and working out properly you will bring your body to equilibrium.

Your body retains water weight when it’s under stress, losing that much weight that quickly assuming you did actually lose 10 pounds in a week probably freaked out your body and sent it into survival mode
I’d suggest staying on the same deficit and holding out until your body gets used to your new diet, in the meantime you can research methods of shedding water weight there are plenty out there

Constipation seems to be the next hurdle. It was for me. I shit once a day but they're not very big. Only on days when I eat tons of veggies ad maybe some shredded wheat do I have a good satisfying shit and piss a lot too. I've seen my weight fluctuate nearly 5lbs in a day.

i only shit every few days and when i do they're giant ass splitting logs

I get very unhappy when I don't shit daily. If I can see even the slightest distention of my stomach then I will wreck a bowl of raisin bran and wait for the show to begin.

Your body breaks down muscle before it uses the fat storage.
Too lose weight means losing muscle even if you are a steroid freak.
This will result in a maintenance appearance on the scale but you are ng something, muscle.

Ignore the retards in this thread, there is no such thing as starvation mode. Worst case you see 10-20% drop in calories burned if your deficit is too large, and studies have proven that is due to you doing less activity due to low energy rather than ‘slowed metabolism’. Your body does not conserve fat ever for any reason, the whole purpose of the fat is to be available for energy.

Most likely the reality of your situation is you lost water weight first few days and have possibly been losing small amounts of fat over the weeks to keep the 10 pounds off, but your caloric intake is close to maintenance.

CICO works, whether 500 deficit per day, IF, or starving yourself for days, the total adds up roughly the same. More than 500 deficit per day is not sustainable for most people and is often detrimental to weight loss in the long term. Consistency is key. Try skipping a meal every day and maybe do a o e day fast once or twice a month. No cheat days
