Fish Oil

Let's talk fish oil. Who makes the best fish oil supplement product in terms of quality? Or is cod liver oil the way to go? Who is the best supplier of that?

      >humans dont have any essential macros or micros
i mean... you develop scurvy without vitamin c. you get goiter if you dont get enough iodine. i dont know what fish oil does exactly but it doesnt mean its inert to your physiology.
if the claim is that its useless, i would hope that there is an explanation that follows up on it other than
      >just think about it bro

Vitamin C is only necessary in the absence of meat.

essential fatty acid are alpha-Linolenic acid and Linolenic acid. both are mainly found in plant based products (if even in fish at all)

There has to be some supplier out there that keeps them from going rancid I don't know how you'd go about finding it though.

        >Rancid

It's called fermented and the fermentation process when done correctly makes it more potent. Something you want. This is like the ignorant fats ho complained McDonald's added healthy high iron chicken liver to chicken nuggets because "ew gross organ meat"

I did a lot of research and found Blue ice fermented cod liver oil is the best for vitamin D and omega3. If you want only omega 3, get blue ice fish oil. Preferably fermented

I'll convince you with a test you can do at home. Get any brand from a local store. Take it a week, then stop. Suddenly your face will be covered with pimples because low quality fish oil comes from fish farms which lack omega 3 fats due a shitty diet. The fish oil suppresses the body's inflammation reaction to zits but it is only temporary because the quality is shitty.

Switch to a high quality fish oil. Take it for a few days then stop. You're face will not break out into a ton of zits. You'll actually be getting omega 3 fats so you'll have healthier skin and hair without consequences if you forget to take it one day.

      T. ADHD hyper fixation was temporarily on fish oil for a day so I looked at a ton of studies on fish oil so I knew the perfect one to take.

I might be a bit slow here but I don't get your experiment. If you didn't have acne before and you took actual good fish oil, how would you conclude that fish oil was the cause of not having acne when you didnt have it to begin with? And how would it cause you to have acne due to bad fish oil when you didnt have it to begin with?

fish oil is basically seed oil, you get plenty of omega 3’s in a normal diet high in animal products, you don’t need fish skin oil

if that was the case, supplements wouldn't exist in general and people's health wouldn't be such an issue especially among the obese who still have deficiencies somehow

        Not a good argument
Supplements exist because people are going to buy them
Studies usually show very minor effects and that's with general populations, not necessarily people who train and have half decent diets
Also I doubt supplements would have any meaningful positive outcomes for obese people when compared to a change in diet

And food exists because people are going to buy them. So I guess food is overrated too?

I fricking hate that homie, he gives generic "you need to do slow reps with good form and mind muscle conneciton" advice, his "critiques" of supplements is literally just comparing the doses to a list of ingredients and their specific efficacious doses. I learned after the MPMD turkesterone thing to never trust anyone who puts themselves in a position of authority while selling their own products
