I had a dream where I ate a shitton of fast food and when I woke up my heart was hurting

I have lots of dreams where I eat and enjoy a ton of unhealthy food. The majority of it is just me enjoying the food but at the end I always feel guilty I ate something unhealthy and I start counting the calories to see how much damage I’ve done. Then I wake up and realize my I didn’t eat that, diet is still amazing, and WAGMI.

All of those taste like shit unless they're hot and fresh, which delivery apps can't provide. Very easy to avoid.

I have never used a food delivery app and I never will. They make me irrationally angry. Someone who would use a food delivery app is such a disgusting tub of lard that they don't even want to put in the tiny amount of effort that it takes to drive to the restaurant. They would rather sit on their ass and pay extra for food that is cold by the time it arrives instead of just driving there. Maybe, MAYBE I can understand if you're getting food from a fancy restaurant and you want to enjoy it in the comfort of your own home. But I cannot think of a single reason to buy fast food through a delivery app other than a sickening level of laziness.

    >just spend an extra $12 on delivery fee and tip for a $10 meal bro!
I will confess that I order delivery like twice a month, but I always get enough for two meals from it to (almost) help offset delivery fees.

what kinda backwater shithole you live in?

I live in the middle of nowhere and there's only this one really shitty pizzeria in the next town over on the app.
They literally just buy frozen pizza in bulk, heat it up and deliver it to you 45 minutes late for 15€.
    I can do that myself.

Christ it's probably cheaper to just make your dough in house every 3 days or so and prep some ingredients. That's just a dumb business decision on their end.

What the frick, are you me? I was literally just about to write that I live in the shithole of nowhere and can only get a shitty pizza from the closest town delivered to me.

It's not even about the service itself, but your choices. As always it comes down to your own personal decision-making.

I can order food via uber eats 3/week and still look shredded. Don't use the service as an excuse for your shit ass decisions.

BTW there's a restaurant near me that's specifically catering to sports and bodybuilding enthusiasts who has all their macros on each item, makes protein-rich meals such as grilled chicken ceasar salads, and they also serve a variety of protein milk shakes and protein crushed ice with juices and fruit smoothies.
Sure you might not have that near you, but it's a good example as to how its really not the service of delivery itself that's the problem with your diet, its your choices.

How about next time you order Indian food and get a beef vindaloo with like 150g of beef and 200g of rice on the side in a calorie-meaningless tomato and hot pepper sauce?
That's right you won't because you prefer dunkin donuts deep down, you junkie.

Based. A little harsh, but entirely factual. Wish I had a IST approved restaurant near me, I'd never eat anywhere else, might even apply for a job.

      Also nice dubs

Delivery fees doubling the cost of your order puts me off of ever giving in to the 3rd party delivery israelite.
If I want food delivered, I get it from a place with in-house delivery.

homie I've managed a couple of restaurants. I wouldn't trust a door dasher or really any delivery driver that isn't directly employed by the restaurant with my food; the amount of frickery which they can get up to is impressive and the restaurant's main recourse is to complain to doordash/ban the delivery driver from your store which doesn't provide much incentive to NOT take food/frick up a delivery.

Also all of those things are fricking expensive. I'd rather pick up my slop myself or cook for myself; I'm pretty confident that I can make a better burger than McDonalds and a better pizza than dominos.

Unless you work a $100k+ a year self employed or commission based job, where your time is literally worth money to you, then these apps only serve to take money out of your pocket. Simple.

also funny cuz thats the first thing ppl ask when my weight loss gets mentioned, as if its not possible otherwise kek

How moronic do you have to be to be addicted to food apps

  17. 10 months ago
    Anonymous

Just stop being a moronic goyim that needs his slop delivered to the front door, because he's too moronic and lazy to cook for himself. morons will order $20+ worth of shitty food for a single meal and wonder why they're fat and broke all the time. If you cannot see the value in preserving your own health, preparing your own meals, and ending frivolous spending, then you won't take any advice from here to heart.

Shit is way overpriced if you don't have coupons.
Rubio's has four burritos with a side of rice and beans for $56.
Panda Express is $43 for three large entrees and two large sides.
That's not including $10+ for delivery and other fees if you don't pick it up yourself.

back when I used to live in turkey I literally ordered every single day as restaurants, even big boys like McD, hire their own delivery drivers so you dont pay the fee. if its 10 EUR in the restaurant, its 10.5 EUR if you order home, and since restaurants buy in bulk, most of the times you are either paying less than cooking at home if you are a single dude

however I've been on the move, studying/working and shit, for the last 3 years and stopped ordering food as the price literally doubles thanks to delivery fee and places scamming people off
its just way easier and good for the soul to just walk a bit or plan a little and save hundreds of dollars every month

A lot of restaurants will jack up prices for ordering apps like doordash partly to recoup app costs, partly because no one likes dealing with gig workers and partly because they can lol

      Anonymous

This is the case for me in California, any time I go grocery shopping I spend a lot of money for barely any food, it’s not much more expensive to get uber eats or doordash if you get the promotions and free delivery thru the monthly sub. So I just order delivery every day I’m home.
