For fat women with IUDs

REMOVE IT. I got an IUD put in when I got my first boyfriend at 21. Was 130 my whole life (I’m 5’ 6”). I got Skyla, which has a lifespan of 3 years. In the first year I did exactly what I did my entire life to stay healthy (running, eating well, staying hydrated, etc; grew up in a health and fitness oriented household) but gained almost 30 pounds. Started to put in even more effort to lose the weight I gained out of nowhere. Calorie deficit, fasting, lifting, swimming, the list goes on. Could not lose more than 5-10 pounds when doing my most intense regimen, the second I got more lax (due to grad school) I would gain weight. Ended up at almost 200 at the end of the IUD’s lifespan. Got it removed and now 1 year later I am back at my normal weight, having done nothing more than my pre- weight gain body maintenance, and I feel better than ever. Not worth the damage to your body, just use a condom and don’t be stupid. Not to mention that the hormones gave me mental illnesses I never had my whole life (anxiety and depression). Also wondering if any other women have had a similar experience or know what the frick caused this lol.

      What is this, 1990?

I like mine a lot. No pregnancy, no outside hormones fricking up my body and making me literally crazy, no prep before sex with husband. Good for 10 years.

Don't these stab your penis if you have a long dick?

This is the only issue for me personally. I thought about getting the thread trimmed BUT then I’d freak out because I couldn’t check to make sure it was still there.

Just wanna remind anons about the "menstrual cycle" because, for some reason, most people (including women) have no idea wtf it is despite it being basic human biology.

Women are only fertile for literally 1 day a month, and sperm can live from 1 to 5 days in the vegana. This means, out of 4 weeks in a month, you can conservatively sex + creampie a woman for 3 weeks. You just need to track the cycle and figure out when ovulation is. There are apps for that.

Most doctors don't teach patients about this and just recommend taking hormones or using IUDs because it's easier and doesn't require any brain power. It also makes money for them and insurance companies, obviously.

When you anons get gfs, get them off birth control and teach them about this if they don't know. I did this with my wife and her breasts doubled in size.

      just use a calendar

      ^ this

It really boggles my mind. Been creampying my gf for 8 months using this method. No birth control, no pill, no condom. All natural and healthy. All she does is keep track of her period. Laziness is this era's biggest downfall.

I conceived my first child the day after my period ended. Precum baby. Full 5 day period, normal and regular 28 day cycle. Two more pregnancies confirmed it really doesn’t matter what day. Husband is one of 7, his parents also have many siblings. I’m one of 4, both parents have many siblings. All back to back. Some people are just very fertile.

        >regular 28 day cycle

Then how do browns and blacks who can’t even count breed repeatedly? How about our grandparents who had nonstop babies? Something about “one chance per month to get pregnant and it’s 50/50” never sounded right.

Wtf are you talking about you stupid moron? Are you only capable of sex once a month, determined at a random date by throwing a dart at a calendar? And why would it be 50/50? Ovulation is either happening (100%) or not happening (0%).

Hormones can really mess with your appetite, ability to build muscle, etc but they don't make you defy the laws of physics. I've been on Lupron as well for endo which is hideous stuff in terms of how it impacts your hormones. Basically switches all of them off. Same rules still apply. I also have hypothyroidism which is another common excuse. While it lowers your BMR to some extent it's just something that you have to work around. And medication basically takes care of that.

it doesn't make you gain weight it increases your appetite which, without self control, will make you gain weight.

        Seconded.

Copper IUDs work by causing constant, massive inflammation in the uterus. Basically, your shit is so fricked up down there your body couldn't possibly host a baby. What a terrible thing to do to your body. If you are a male, would you put copper inside your testicles?

My wife has the copper IUD and she's fine breh. I think you're just coping. I told her she didn't have to get it and we could just use condoms but she wanted it. She /did/ gain weight on the hormonal IUD, but I've deduced that it's because she kept eating like she used to and she wasn't doing the same physical activity that she used to do, so obviously she gained weight. I'm sure the hormones were also a factor but it's not the whole issue. Sorry op.

I don't understand why women don't value their own virginity. Do they all really think a high value man is going to fall head over heels for a 30 old with a long sexual history like some Hallmark movie?

Unironically my sisters at 19 and 20 did think that dating apps and meeting boys in public places/clubs was for prostitutes, they thought Mr. Perfect would just bring flowers to the door like a hallmark movie

Fiction does this to both sexes. It's like how anime shows losers getting harems which is why a lot of anime watcher are unwashed fatasses, but not enough people talk about how women fiction is just as trashy and unrealistic. Both need reality checks yet I only see efforts put towards giving those to men.

For what it's worth, I highly doubt the kind of man looking for anything long term will be found at clubs or even on most of the popular dating apps.

I mean book clubs and whatnot. Both met their now boyfriends in church, both were required to have a formal meeting with our parents first, and both had to approach my sisters and set everything up (a woman that makes any sort of advances is a prostitute)

You’ve never been to the rural northeast and it shows. Rural PA is still living in the 50s, it was honestly a hot topic for my sisters to work.

My wife got one of those and it killed our sex life because the thing poked me in the dick every time we fricked. Ended up getting it removed and getting that arm implant thing (and it fricking failed so I've got a kid now)

My ex was already a little chubby when we started dating and had been gaining weight over a couple years before we met. She remarked on her old bikini picture that she feels healthier now (she was in better shape in the picture).

She got on birth control and over the years gained more weight. Then she started watching feminist tiktoks and got convinced that I brainwashed her to take hormonal birth control even though she was totally fine with it from the start and told me she loved the feeling of raw sex and forbid me from pulling out. She ended up getting fat and tried to blame me while stuffing her face with fast food and lattes. Then tiktok convinced her to stop shaving and showering and we broke up not longer after.

Blogposting aside, I knew plenty of women who were on hormonal BC who stayed a healthy weight. Obviously it affects everyone differently but some women already had bad habits and just use the BC as a scapegoat.

I never used them in my 20s because my OBGYN is not a swindler. He told me because of the risks IUDs are for married women who already had kids and are fine with the possibility of complications.
It’s an implant, what did you expect you moron?

Why even use such a device? Do you have unprotected sex with men you wouldn't have a child with? If so, why?

    Birth control is bluepilled.
Unprotected sex with your wife is fricking rad.
