Forced 'coma' for gains?

Everybody harps on about how sleep is amazing for recovery and muscle damage repairing, so what if you can force yourself to sleep for longer artificially? Let's say you do an intense work out, and then that night you sleep 10 hours, and when you wake up you take say 2-3 valium and sleep for another 4ish hours, and when you wake up you take a different kind of downer and get another few hours sleep, realistically you could get 20ish hours in of solid sleep aka recovery
Any science experts willing to prove my theory wrong?

Waking up from benzo induced sleep is horrible.
You're a low energy zombie until the drugs get flushed out of your system.
It's why I avoid most sleeping tablets.
Stop being a homosexual looking for a quick fix and develop some fricking discipline.

valium does not induce sleep, it only reduces consciousness (similar to anesthesia, in fact, some anesthesiologists use valium for anesthesia), the difference between sleep and anesthesia is like putting your computer into sleep mode, where it still does important background processes and for example, may continue to download ga(in)mes whereas anesthesia/valium is like just turning the power off

not saying your theory is IMPOSSIBLE, but I just doubt it would help you

My uninformed guess would be that diminishing returns would hit hard around 8 hours. Oversleeping can also frick your shit up pretty badly, from giving you back and joint problems, making you feel lethargic, and increasing your risk of heart failure.

            Look at his eyes.

You know one day he will murder and rape one of the Brazzer girls and then drive his car off a bridge.

I wonder how many hookers this guy has fricked. Or do you think he is so committed to cooming that he never ejaculates with anything but his own hand?

Want more sleep? Do more during the day. I find fasting, or eating less+ doing more makes me tired and fatigued. Thus I sleep more.
20 hours of sleep a day sounds horrific unless all you do is lift and have a huge meal.

Sleep quality is more important than sleep quantity.
Oversleeping is typically a sign of illness (e.g. sleep apnea, diabetes, obesity)

    >he doesn't microdose chamomile and orange blossom tea all throughout the day
    >he doesn't prime himself with a warm matcha green tea latte (homemade) with raw mountain honey for the L-theanine soft focus gains late evening.
    >he doesn't self induce evening food coma to prime himself with a nice insulin and ghrelin spike by eating a warm hearty meal like a bowl of stew.
    >he doesn't get his extra cup valerian root and chamomile tea right before bed.

pffft...get on my level anon. Before you reach for the SSRIs and antipsychotics like a Babylonian-American, how about you try some of those good old sweet natural remedies?

I want to be put in a coma for several months. A deep sleep sounds amazing.

    Shamrock

Old school bodybuilders used to do this with ghb. They stopped because they realized how dangerous it was.

As someone who has taken benzos on and off for 6 years it really doesn’t “put you in a coma” just a deep sleep. Seroquel is more like a coma though. A brutal forcefully induced coma. And ghb is even more intense, never done it though.
