Not sure if all frogs taste the same, but I tried some grilled frog legs once (inb4 France jokes, was actually at an Asian restaurant), they were pretty OK. Like a mix between chicken and a little bit of fish. Would probably not make them myself, but if I would get them offered again I would not say no.
Had them at a legitimate redneck trailer park cookout, caught fresh out of the lake. Literally tasted indistinguishable from chicken, texture was a little softer and had more veins. If a redneck ever offers you fresh-caught frog's legs, gratefully accept.
