Gains after age 50

Any good examples of progress after 50? I assume the same things work just slower, softer. Looking good is more important than strength. Even 5 pounds of muscle can be a good for the ego.

    Here's the progression for you:
    >Get on TRT.
    >Cruise on TRT for 6 - 8 months until you are titrated and stable on your optimal TRT dose, used to the bloodwork interval (and reading and understanding the results).
    >Move from Dr prescribed TRT on to DIY TRT.
    >When ready, plan and pin your first blast.
    >Return to optimal TRT cruise after first blast.
    >Plan your next blast interval
    >Welcome to the blast and cruise life, frendaigo.

Basically this. And depending on your appetite for adventure, some of the TRT providers will give you TRT+ with nandrolone (deca), oxandrolone (var), or stanozolol (winny) in modest doses. Add a bit of GH and you're about as squared away as you can be, assuming you actually, lift, do cardio, eat right, and rest. I am 47 at the end of this month and my TRT provider gives me 240mg test cypionate and 100mg nandrolone per week and that's my cruise. Then, when time for a blast, I use nothing but the finest Chinese bathtub chemicals to add to that.

Nandrolone is the most studied steroid in existence and has been in constant use for more than 60 years. I'm not concerned. I have three kids and I'm ready to die.

What to you mean you have three kids and are ready to die, shouldn't that be a reason why you WOULDN'T die. I swear, there are so many unfit parents these days.

There are plenty of fitness youtubers 50+ who are in great shape. Hell there are some in their 70s and 80s.

I'm 50 and have 4 abs showing, do HIIT sprints. I would recommend:
    1. Most important rep is hitting gym every day
    2. Most important goal is protecting against injury
    3. Higher reps/lower weight is good. Don't be afraid to be a pussy. You'll get there.
    4. Focus on cardio. Building strength isn't so much an issue, as is keeping weight off.
    5. Stretch to prevent injury
    6. If you feel ANYTHING bad during an exercise, FRICKING STOP. Do something else and come back to it next week.
    7. HIIT Sprinting is the fricking fountain of youth, but it could take a year to work up to it depending on your conditioning. Take it slow. Because of 11MPH short sprints, have the VO2 Max of a 30 year old.
    8. Stairs are great for lower body, weight, + cardio. Low impact.

Good luck, hope you enjoyed the new Top Gun movie, ha ha.
