So my GF realized she has gained weight over the years and wants to start a IST journey. I have no experience whatsoever with female routines since I am a man. What do? Should I get her to do SS or some other beginner's routines? Also what to expect when going with gf to the gym? She's very pretty and attracts people. Pic related looks like my gf.

      does this guarantee a big ass? I was thinking on getting her to do hip thrusts/romanian deadlifts and squats, with machine shit. For upper body I wouldn't know.

        Squat is a full body exercise so it will work everything

        If you want to target her ass year you can add on glute work but guys get enormous asses on SS because of all the squat volume.

            Guys but wouldn't she need to be on a surplus to sustain the heavy squatting 3x a week? I don't think that's the correct approach for a first timer that wants to lose weight.

        If you want to target her ass year you can add on glute work but guys get enormous asses on SS because of all the squat volume.

        Oh and yeah, you want the lowbar squat variant if you're going to do that.

        Forward Leaning Lounges, with weights and Barbell Squats, 3 days a week 3x5 or 5x5, 1 rest day between.

        Then add cardio, abs and some leg exercises on a mat.

        This will ensure she has a great ass and good flexibility and lose the extra weight.

          My wife did basically the same thing last year. Just have her do cardio and core exercises to start. Once she gets into a rhythm and habit of exercising she'll branch out as she wants to. After a few months she started doing dumbbell exercising without me prompting it.

      If she's trying to lose weight then get her to eat healthier and do cardio, with some lifts as a supplement. Lifting keeps you strong and healthy, but is useless for burning fat. You will unironically burn more calories walking for an hour than lifting for an hour.
