Giga Reps

Think about it logically with me.
What's stopping me from doing:
>0pl8 for 45 reps = 900kg
>0pl8 for 75 reps = 1500kg
>0pl8 for 105 reps = 2100kg
>0pl8 for 135 reps = 2700kg
>0pl8 for 165 reps = 3300kg
Instead of:
>1pl8 for 15 reps = 900kg
>2pl8 for 15 reps = 1500kg
>3pl8 for 15 reps = 2100kg
>4pl8 for 15 reps = 2700kg
>5pl8 for 15 reps = 3300kg
When they achieve the same final objective?
Just let that sink in.
Pro tip: You literally have no argument against this.

Do you think that 165 reps is a lot or something? 45 lbs for 16 sets of 10? Are you moronic?

This, it actually looks doable when you think about it
You'd be surprised how strong you can get as a poorgay, you pretty much only need an old barbell and some old plates
You can make do with furniture for stands, it's not like you're going to break chairs with mere 45lbs

its called muscular tears. higher intensity increases muscular tears while low intensity and hundreds of reps are cardio. your muscles will not tear against a resistance that they can easily do.

There is no consensus on whether muscular tears help muscle growth at all. Muscle growth is triggered by some arcane feedback mechanisms nobody fully understands yet, but it's probably much more elegant than literally "muscle torn -> build back more". After all, protein consumption and roids can also trigger it.

I consulted god and he said strength increase is based on the muscle cells increasing testosterone receptors in response to stress.

        >common knowledge is not actually as factual as they're told
whole industry is a scam if we go this way
        (it absolutely is btw)

This would work for a while but once you get to a certain point the muscle fiber becomes so efficient at resisting stress it would grow very slowly with very low weight very high reps. Though at that point you could question the point of taking strength training any further.
