I mix 100g oats with lite milk, yogurt, protein powder and frozen berries the night before and eat it for breakfast, keeps me full until lunchtime

That’s way too many oats for a cut dude lol. That’s like 330 cals just from oats. Especially if you’re adding yogurt, milk, and protein powder, way too much.

OP, start with 60g oats and cut down to 45g eventually. Everything else this guy said is great and makes bomb as FRICK oatmeal. Low fat yogurt, high protein. I dig Kite Hill Greek Style, 140 cals for 17g protein. Same with the milk. Add a ton of cinnamon too, so good.

I eat this around 9AM and then don’t eat until 2. You’ll have to train yourself but spacing out meals is extremely effective for weight loss. 3 square meals a day (maybe with a protein shake) and just get sorta used to feeling a little hungry. You got this brother

eh i basically do the same, who cares if it's alot of carbs. I eat all my carbs at breakfast and lunch, about 100g from overnight oats in the morning then 80g at lunch from fruit, broccoli or other veg. Sometimes rice
I do full fat yogurt and whole milk, get about half my fat macros at breakfast too, other half at lunch from avocado and beef. Dinner is chicken breast or tilapia. Fits my macros and means I keep carbs to a smaller feeding window.

        [...]
        [...]
I can't eat milk, yogurt, or whey

        >I can't eat milk, yogurt, or whey
Rip. Eat more beef and eggs for protein and fats, and more broccoli/spinach for carbs in that case. Honestly I only like overnight oats with milk/yogurt, whey is unnecessary I get like 35g protein from my recipe without it. Couple eggs on the side and you're at 47/48g protein for breakfast.
You could try just microwaving oats then adding honey cinnamon and blueberries. Add a bit extra water so they aren't dry

Just because you are hungry doesn't mean you have to eat. Set certain times for your meals and eat at that time. Giving in to hunger is a struggle you have to deal with if you're cutting. The whole point is to be in a deficit so naturally you will feel hungry. Limit your intake and really try to eat at the times you've assigned. You got this anon

Oatmeal is not filling or low calorie. If you're fat there is literally no reason to be eating oatmeal, rice, bread, pasta, potatoes, etc. Cut all those out and only eat meat and eggs until desired level of leanness has been achieved. All that oatmeal is gonna do is slow you down and make you hungrier.

Oatmeal is not a good food for weightloss. A cup of oatmeal which translates to about 1 large bowl of oatmeal is about 300 kcal, then you have a half tbs of butter, 50kcal, 1/4 cup of raisins 150 kcal, a scant tablespoon of brown sugar (15g) 60 kcal, if you go the skim milk route 80 kcal
So 620 kcal is for a meal that has almost nothing besides carbs. That's like a 1/3rd of the average persons cutting diet. You'd probably feel fuller eating 2 or 3 apples and taking a fiber suppliment to slow the sugar and a little protein for added satiety.

Make a bowl of oatmeal with water and a very small amount of butter, salt it well before you cook it, this makes the salt go all through for better taste.
