      Core gains are minimal and low back gains come fine from Deadlift.

      Unless you're a strength athlete the Barbell squat is a bit of a meme. Better tools for just looking good.

              Taller lifters get more out of other variants on average. Depends on your leverages.

              Theyre a great tool, but just that. A tool. Not every problem problem is a nail, but when you really love your hammer it can look like they are.

    I always have sharp knee pain immediately after hack squats. Never had problems with normal squats though. It’s a pity, they seem like fun.

      the only thing doing the work is the weakest link in the chain
      everything else is getting almost no stimulaiton
      that's why atheltes use cables and machines more so than free weights - when youre salary depends on performance, you use what works

      it's not any worse for your knees than a highbar squat. you sound moronic. hacksquat really is the best if you only care about quad size. it's most pro bbs main quad exercise. better than leg press or real squats for quad size.

      You probably don't want two exercises that taxing in one session. And since they're more or less the same, you'll want to get really good at one of them and progress it.
