>and still haven't got injured.
I've had shoulder pain for six months now after a set of dips. It's mostly gone day-to-day, but I feel it if I bring my arm up and backwards. It's annoying because I can do 3x8 pullups easily enough, but dips just hurt me immediately.
I ended up replacing dips with static holds on rings. Gives me chest doms often so I think it's doing the job.
>putting yourself in harms way just cause an internet forum told you to
Bench can't really be replaced. Just look at what bodybuilders looked like before the bench press was invented, they had DYEL chests and strong everything else.
Learn proper form. It took me years, but now I get it.
This is true for people with costochondritis. I found solutions for shoulder problems, but nothing really works for costochondritis so far... I am also pretty sure that my costo comes from my scoliosis, which is unfixable too.
Bro fricking same. How have u tried to rehab it?? Its been fricking 2 months now and im just slowly getting back into chest workouts starting with elevated pushups and 10kg dumbell presses. Frick moii
>How have u tried to rehab it??
Daily icing. Bought a shoulder compression sleeve on Amazon to sleep with at night, I only used it back when it really hurt though.
Then after the pain mostly went away I just did rehab exercises like rotations and whatnot. I read that holds on gymnastics rings help too so after it got much much better I started static holds on rings.
After a few months I still feel the pain if I lift my arm up and back, but any other motion is fine at this point. I haven't done dips since, just holds on rings and push ups to somewhat target chest with calisthenics.
You ever do benchpress or dumbell bench?? Whats your strength like??
I want to try build a nice chest. But havent been able to do anything. Been training legs/back for the last 2months now and making pretty good progression on pulls rofl.
Probs having imbalances like that would make it even worse. I might try isometrics like you suggested. Isometric pushup maybe. Push and hold
I can bench just fine now, no pain. I don't do it regularly because I prefer calisthenics, but you absolutely shouldn't try working with your shoulder until the rehab work makes it feel much better.
Work your way up slowly on bench after, use dumbbells occasionally too to work on stabilizers.
not saying i would, but seeing his veiny legs made me think of animals or something. got my mind racing and stuff
Humans intentionally keep animals in pena where they can't move so that they taste better. The best tasting humans would be wheelchair-bound paraplegics.
true dat. big fat couch-potatoes must taste the best then. since all they do is fatten themselves up and barely move.

Tasteless humans do this. They also starve them to death in infancy. None of that satanic shit is necessary and even a wild animal tastes good if you don't have a weak sugar dependent palate and can cook.
Honestly how can you not see that you are the autistic frick if you can't handle the regular communication/language function of "singling out a particular aspect of a statement and comment on that because you find it more worthwhile"?
You'd be the same turboautist who'd think it's weird if a normie would ask "Oh my god, is she ok?" if you made a post like >I am building a Lego castle. Here's a pic. Unfortunately my dumb sister swallowed and choked a block, so a piece is missing. Evaluate. Review
you dont set sliders in morrowind you FRICKING moron its OBLIVION that has the moronic character models you fricking inbred moron motherfricker FRICK YOU
I had to really evaluate my form to git gud at bench press. They key for me was pulling my shoulder blades back AND DOWN, getting a good arch in my lower back, and setting my toes behind my knees. When I started lifting I just flopped down on the bench and went to town on the heaviest weights I could lift. Obviously this lead to the infamous left shoulder pain everyone complains about.
none of the common exercises CAUSE injury. Your body may be fricked up in terms of posture, scoliosis, etc, and then doing the movements injures you, but that isn't the fault of the exercise.
I used to fricking hate benching
I would max out at 185 and my shoulders felt uncomfortable the whole time
Recently though Ive been focusing more on chest development and now that im actually seeing progress im starting to enjoy it more
I can do any kind of press just fine, but dips still frick with me. I don't get injured from them, but I'm not able to do them as strongly as I think I should. It's like I have the mobility for them, but not the strength in that position.
Stay weak
>putting yourself in harms way just cause an internet forum told you to
not doing 1 exercise that can be replaced will make you weak ?
I do 1 rep max with this, with no warm up and still haven't got injured.
Been doing them for a year
>and still haven't got injured.

Dips are way more dangerous then benching, dipshit
How ? They're even safer heavy. And bench has the most deaths than any other exercise
Bench can't really be replaced. Just look at what bodybuilders looked like before the bench press was invented, they had DYEL chests and strong everything else.
>gives you a lifelong injury after the first time you use it
My fricking shoulder

Thanks boss gunna work dumbells starting at 10kg and progress slowly
>daily icing
imagine being this moronic lmao
There's nothing wrong with icing anon
if you get injured at the gym it is your fault, unless you pass out due to some unknown disease or something.
Fix your form
>produces comically tumultuous laughter in floor press
i wonder if his flesh tasted good. bodybuilders gotta either have the tastiest flesh or the nastiest flesh.
Nasty with all those homebrewed hormones
yeah probably. also i just thought about it: muscles being tensed so often would prolly make the meat taste weird
you wanna eat that? eww
not saying i would, but seeing his veiny legs made me think of animals or something. got my mind racing and stuff

Missing the point autistic-anon
No I'm not.

The small forearms ruins the physique
Something just looks cursed with this one
my forearms are bigger than your upper arms no body poster.
Kinda gay
My brain is mirin but my gut tells me something's wrong.
weird roider skin
this guy's final boss will be a jar of pickles
How much do you do? I can only do floor press since I tore my pec (not related to benching)
Great Upper body. But your core and legs are too small. Do you work them at all?
you look like the only lift you've ever done in your life are incredibly heavy overhead presses
i dig it
Your balance is completely fricked. Do a better job of building your physique properly
post body so you can show us how it's done
Post chest & full routine
Why are your hands so tiny
Nice physique dude, lmao@losers in replies who are jelly
hi derek
nice shoulders. I'd let you put a bun in my b***hes oven.
You the guy with that 10x10 routine?
If so based, started doing something similar a week ago, it's blasting me.
Could you post yours? Want to compare.

Miring but probably should work on symmetry. Looking like Derek from mpmd lol the proportion of your upper body and arms is uncanny

Actually you need to be quite moronic to get continuous injuries at benching.
Now, if we talk about deadlifting....
none of the common exercises CAUSE injury. Your body may be fricked up in terms of posture, scoliosis, etc, and then doing the movements injures you, but that isn't the fault of the exercise.
Huur, guns dont kill people, user error does!
unironically yes
I have never gotten an injury from bench press.
>rapes (You) in the ass
is that dinglewingle
How are people getting injured with this?
I do bench like 16 sets a week.
WHERES THE RACK? HOW IS HE GOING TO GET IT OFF WHEN HES DONE??????
>he doesn't rerack off the floor
What are you talking about? It's right there at the head of the bench, like it always is.
I bench DBs..am I safe?
Been benching now since 2015 and I still haven't gotten any injuries. I should be dead according to youtube fitness experts tm and anons on here.
I front squat every single day and my knees are fine.
I bench press every other day and my shoulders are fine.
If you lift more weight than what your body (not just muscles) can handle you're going to injure yourself.
you should have posted deadlift
Well obviously, there's nowhere to put the bar so you have to keep going til it falls and you die
especially if you do it with no bar rest like this guy
Overhead press and incline bench work well for me, I do DB bench because regular bench hurts my shoulder
>be OP
>egolift
>complain about it on IST by assuring people that this exercise is shit
You don't even lift.
I want to get good at bench but I ego lift more than I should, my working weight is around 155 and it’s humiliating
Bench becomez better when you realize it's an arm exersize with some chest. Also upper/mid back strength is absolutely critical for bench.
>fixes your aching shoulder from bench and dips
Nothing personal, kid
Well yeah, how did he even get the bar into position without a rack? That's just asking for snap.
I used to fricking hate benching
I would max out at 185 and my shoulders felt uncomfortable the whole time
Recently though Ive been focusing more on chest development and now that im actually seeing progress im starting to enjoy it more
Yeah I am focusing on hypertrophy right now. Grinding out more dyel tier 195 lb sets isn't helping.
>tfw too short to unrack whilst maintaining proper form with shoulders back and scapula squeezed together
I can do any kind of press just fine, but dips still frick with me. I don't get injured from them, but I'm not able to do them as strongly as I think I should. It's like I have the mobility for them, but not the strength in that position.
Im getting elbow pain for some reason
Im not sure if it’s tennis elbow, is it because of benching?
