Cassava flour in your post-workout shake
Gayest thing I’ve read all day.
>culture is gay
definitely not pic related.
It's fruit. This is why dudes on tren have to eat shit tons of fruit daily lest they feel like shit, fructose favors the liver.
>fructose favors fat in the liver.
ftfy
your glycogen will replenish itself just fine eating no carbs. queue some gay about to post a sports drink funded study in 3 2 1...
>your glycogen will replenish itself just fine eating no carbs
0/10
>Compared to highly trained ultra-endurance athletes consuming an HC diet, long-term keto-adaptation results in extraordinarily high rates of fat oxidation, whereas muscle glycogen utilization and repletion patterns during and after a 3 hour run are similar.

Dont try and tell me you are running 3+ hours at an elite level
>literally funded by Atkins.
and everything else is funded by sports drink companies. pick your poison
Its common sense or it isn't, studies mean nothing in relation to this
You said glycogen would replenish itself just fine eating NO carbs.
The low carbohydrate group in this study were given a preworkout shake with 5g of carbohydrate and a post-workout shake with 5g of carbohydrate, and their glycogen was still 34% diminished 2 hours after exercise.
That doesn't sound like NO CARB to me.
Theres also no reason to extrapolate the physiology of ultra endurance marathon runners to the average person.
Further to this, on a low carbohydrate diet, the primary source of glycogen replenishment is gluconeogenesis (GNG).
The low carb group in this study consumed an average of 20% of calories from protein compared to 15% for the high carbohydrate group. They are eating expensive glucose, as their body is using much of this extra protein for GNG.
Only if you eat enough protein for excess aminos to initiate gluconeogenesis. If you workout a lot, you'll need a lot of protein.
A lot of people workout excessively/beyond genetic expectations for energy expenditure and thus beyond the bodies ability to fully restore glycogen levels in time for their next excessive workout.
Yes on a cut.
>low carb diet with a 40:40:20 ratio of protein:fat:carb
>caloric deficit of 50-750 per day
>refeed day of TDEE calories and carbs once every 2 weeks
So not directly after every workout
>consume as much fat as protein on a cut
I don't think so brother
Dave Tate and others ate a heresy bar once an hour
is that factual or hearsay?
Heresey, burned at the stake
Raw milk and raw honey post workout. You can put some EAAs in as well if you want but it won't affect glycogen, just protein synthesis
FROM THE MAN HIMSELF,
you dont need too. eating small amounts of carbs post workout is enough. your body will replenish from that enough to not hamper your peak strength. plus restricting carbs post workout helps with muscle-glycogen efficiency. just dont expect to run a marathon the next day.
are you speaking from a cutting standpoint?
No purely study on bodies use of carbs, loading and replenishment.
carbs dickhead
