get more exercise throughout the day, then unironically go to sleep later.

sometimes I make the mistake of going to sleep too early and the same exact thing happens to me

though I work from 4pm till midnight and workout at around noon

I took a rest day I lifted hard yesterday but it did nothing
Im afraid if I go to bed later than 11 I wont have time to sleep in case it takes a while for me to knock out

      Magnesium, one hour before sleep
      Thank me later

I take 500 mg with lunch I know its not like an immediately acting thing

You need to reduce your sleeping window and immediately get up at the same time everyday. Reduce your sleep window until fractured sleep stops. Try 6 hours only. Then increase to 7 if that works. DO NOT NAP DO NOT SNOOZE ALARM.

Ah I guess I'll try even if I only get four hours of consecutive sleep ill probably feel better than I do right now

Continued. OP You literally just described being in bed for almost 11 hours. Are you surprised you have fractured sleep. if you're an adult you prob need 7.

Yeah because I couldnt sleep. Should I have just woke up at 5 for the rest of the day?

It hurts bros I want to sleep rn but I know that would probably mess me up further ive never been this tired

Many things can affect your sleep pattern, but they are mostly irrelevant since your mind can override pretty much anything to sleep short of gulag torture.

Don't use your phone in bed.
Make a rule you'll be in bed at 11pm and up at 7pm no matter what happens.
Do the same things you had planned to do that day.

You will struggle a lot but if you force a schedule like this your brain and body will adapt.

That tiredness is often not from needing rest but instead your body clock saying its time to sleep so it drugs you full of shit to tire you.

When I have nothing on later in a day and workout earlyish, if I lie down at around 2pm I will just fall asleep instantly. Every single time. It's a completely different sort of tired than the nighttime tired. Just creeps over me instantly and knocks me out. Terrible habbit, always wake up 1-2 hours later feeling like shit and have even more trouble finally getting to sleep at night.
