Goggins

He is inspirational and I am thankful for the impact he made in my life completely for free. He has some of the best motivational speeches out there and really motivates me to not miss a single day in the gym. Anyone else feels thankful to Goggins?

I'm not sure I took much away from his audiobook, but I enjoyed it. I find something particularly pathetic (in a reddit way) about people who nitpick his advice and story. There is a certain kind of sad human being who lashes out when they're presented with a message of self-reliance and personal responsibility, and unfortunately that's a good chunk of humanity

Indeed, my man. No wonder this kind of pathetic behaviour comes from carnivore flat-earthers (

I'd highlight the fact that he's a schizophrenic wannabe cult leader - and emphasize the flat earther bit - before the unfortunate fact that he is a raw meat cultist.
I'm primarily carni and I love Goggins.

he's a damaged loser grifter and you're too low iq to realize you're nothing but a simp that he targets. people who need morons like this are screaming out to the world they didn't have a father figure growing up

its ok to have role models. In fact you need them unless you want to be exactly like your father.

Not everyone got a gigachad dad unfortunately, I love mine but he works at a factory and lives in a small shitty apartment with his not attractive at all gf. He's a kind person, but I don't want to be like that in my 50s, I am a man emboldened by the flame of ambition. My dream is to one day have enough money that I can allow my mother and father to retire earlier.

I never tell people that they should stop complaining. Either I’m compassionate and try to support them in over coming their obstacle or I ignore them. But to refer to your point, I was not complaining just pointing out the obvious. You need to grow up.

Same here, I loved hearing the stories about BUDS and ultra-marathon running. Skipped over the commentary where the journalist is just sucking him off. Overall a cool book about an athlete's mindset.

No, he lies to much. Also not white, and I don't mean that as a bad thing but it shows in his slave morality attitude towards white people and all these racism and blm tears of his.
That was the reason why devgru didn't take him btw, and he quit ST5. If you can't stand above casual racism man to man you're out, vely shimpuru.

Never did anything important in the military (badge collector who almost got his men killed in a training exercise.) Fraud steroid abuser. Abandoned his wife and children just like his father.

He's a terrible person. His advice of "you can do more than you think" is good advice though.

Couldn't finish his book. His approach to running is so wrong. And it seemed like he was making himself fail, and then heroically building his life back up over and over again. So inspirational/motivational - maybe. But don't do what he says he did in the book, that's an awesome way to get badly hurt. And again, I admit I couldn't finish the book.
