Used to get a month's worth of food from costco for about 140-180$ in 2019.
Now I pay closer to 300-350$.
Bottom round is coming back down but it's floating at 4.29/lb from it's high of 5.99/lb. I don't know if it will ever come down again.

Today I learned never to drink a carton of egg whites after drinking a Monster (the red sugar-free one). The combination basically turns into an emitic and laxative. I'm phoneposting from on top of the toilet with my head rested on the laundry hamper. I think my entire suggestive tract just totally voided after I threw up what I could. Sigh ... Things did not go as planned but it's a good life lesson I suppose.

I knew something was wrong when I started sweating profusely all of a sudden while feeling dizzy and started seeing strange colors. Usually I have to pay tens of dollars for this kind of trip. My vision is still fricked up. I'm seeing stars!

I figured I'd share this with all you groceryfrens in case they are stocking up on protein.

That's not what I'm talking about. I mean you don't get the yolk cholesterol and the protein you do get is barely usable. Just cook it instead if drinking useless snot.

Onion powder, black pepper, salt, garlic powder, ground fennel, oregeno, basil, olive oil, ground celery seed

Add these to tomato sauce and wah lah. If you want it sweeter then saute onions and grated carrots before adding it to the sauce pan. If you really need to cheat just add a tablespoon of sugar.

I worked in the Meat department for a few months in College. I liked it because it wasn't just mindlessly stocking stuff. yeah, you did have to stock some stuff, but you could be cutting in the back, rotating stock in the back, making ground beef, or running the packing machine. Once every few months we had a seafood stall set up and I was selling lobsters and fresh fish there. It was very comfy. There were a few times I had to help out in the bakery department... and that was absolute hell. NEVER accept a position in the bakery.

I would say the Meat department is the best gig there, but it isn't the easiest. Its just engaging enough to not turn you into a mindless zombie.

      >canadian bacon
Just buy a pork belly. To cure real bacon you just score it, rub salt, paprika, and ground celery seed and wait 10 days. Wah lah cured bacon. If you want it smoked then smoke it for an hour. If you want to cheat then use liquid smoke and the oven.

I would get some pussy. I hooked up with one of the thick employees there last summer. We had a fling that lasted until around thanksgiving. We met at the dairy section.

The chicken fat from the rotisserie ovens smells like fart and only gets cleaned out once a day.

I saw these yesterday but they have 30 ingredients and the second ingredient is basedbean oil.
Also like 280 Cals/9g protein per serving so definitely not worth unless you're a fat pig powerlifter.

These are great. You can air fry them, but you can also just fry them in regular oil.
The sauce that comes with them is alright, I prefer to mix söy sauce, garlic powder, and some sriracha and dip it in that.
Also, I get pearl river bridge söy sauce.

I get gold standard at my costco and I swear its more filled up than the containers at popeyes or something. I've never actually compared but i've noticed a weight difference carrying both on different occasions.
