Going vegetarian

For the longest time I wanted to go vegetarian or even vegan purley for moral reasons but I don't want to end up malnourished. On top of that perma bulking out of auswitzt mode is curing my depression and saving my soul right now..

Can anyone debunk the whole weak vegan thing? I mean if I shove 4k calories in my pie hole that should be a problem right? Escpecially if i can have dairy(i will join a raw milk cooperative close to me..) . I remeber following dudes on insta cuz they were vegan and squated 5-6 plate..

Maybe on the weekend I'll eat sum Kobe beef since that is the only truly cruelty free meat.

Either that or convince me animals don't have souls and there is no God so I can cave in and go on a meth fuled bareback Thai ladyboy vacation..

Being vegan makes it easy to avoid cholesterol, fast food, and most junk food. Weak vegans either don't lift or don't keep up with their diet. It's pretty easy after a short adjustment period (1-2 weeks)

      >literally
Vitamin B12: Cereal, yeast, plant based milk & meat
      Vitamin D: Go outside
Omega 3: Seeds, nuts, brussel sprouts
      Iron: Tofu, beans, greens
Calcium: Tofu, beans, nuts, greens, fruit
      Zinc: Tofu, nuts, seeds, oats
      Iodine: Salt, bread, seaweed

Going vegetarian might be ok as long as you go heavy on dairy. Vegan is definitely not ok. We're first carnivore animals, second plant gatherers.

They also beat them, taze them, use gas chambers, shred them alive, use captive bolt pistols, inaccurate rifle shots, or just slit their throats. It's not mercy killing when it's for profit. If factory farms cared about the suffering of animals they wouldn't mass produce them and stick them in cages full of feces in the first place.

My family used to kill pigs by fucking them up with a club to the head, then hanging them upside down from the rear legs, and cut their throat to bleed them out into a bucket which we'd use to make blood sausage later. They screamed their guts out despite being dizzy from the hit to the head. Still, no better way to bleed them out.

This is true. Our current relationship with animals is not remotely like our historical, natural husbandry.
Would you still eat meat if it were hunted, or if it was from a non-factory farm? That’s what I’m going for, getting there gradually.

My grandpa used to tell me to not get attached to the animals, cause we'd have to kill them anyway. Yes I did grow up in a farm. Learned to twist the roosters's and chickens' neck when it was their time, and to butcher pigs. My first chicken was a terrible experience, but I learned after that that I had to not get attached to the animals and just treat them as plants to be eaten.

OP, I was vegan for several months, and vegetarian for 3 years after. Tl;dr vegetarianism is ok, not great, but ok, and it does have its purposes short term. Veganism is to be avoided.

    >moral reasons
Life eats life anon. Plants are just as alive as animals. They don't move and they don't have eyes so you don't see them the same, but they are alive. So are mushrooms. It's a perfect cycle, and it's ok. Unless you're going for monkhood vegetarianism isn't going to help you long term.
    >malnourished
With dairy you'll be fine. Eat your typical vegetarian stuff (avoid soi though) and just include dairy and you're golden. Don't even need eggs if you don't want them. Is it efficient for bodybuilding and athletics? No, but it doesn't seem like that's a concern of yours.
    >Can anyone debunk the whole weak vegan thing?
There is no debunking. Not only are they weak physically they're weak mentally. They hate themselves because they hate humans. It's a misanthropic death cult, not a diet, not a lifestyle, a literal cult. Don't follow them.
    >Escpecially if i can have dairy
Yes include dairy. Yogurt, cheeses, good whole milk, kefir, all of that good stuff.

Hey OP, good for you for thinking about the ethical issue. And for thinking about someone other than yourself (as opposed to 90% of this narcissistic board).

In short, feel free to cut out meat and see how you feel, but I guarantee you you won't miss either the taste/flavour, nor end up malnourished in any way.

For the taste, you got so many mock meats nowadays (like Beyond burgers), available in a lot of the countries. Yeah it's more expensive, but who gives a shit.

For the nutrients, literally everything is available to you if you don't eat meat, plus you'll get benefits like decreased LDL, and your body will spend less energy on digesting the meat, thus allowing you to train more and recover better (if you're an athlete for example).

For retards saying meat is natural - the situation where we as a society currently are is as detached from nature as possible. I see no problem with you going out, hunting your own deer or boar, bringing it home, skinning it, chopping it, feeding your family. But the leap in reasoning that everybody makes from hunting to eating processed meat products from the supermarkets that come from sick animals stacked upon eachother under piles of shit is so annoying and frankly so idiotic.

Regarding other animals products (eggs/dairy), if you feel up for it, try and eliminate those and see how you feel. But speaking ethics, I find that vegans here make another wrong jump in logic. Yes, the factory standards for egg and dairy farming are also as cruel as meat farming, but you CAN find eggs and dairy easily from local markets/sellers, often times cheaper than the factory ones.
But cruelty free meat is not a thing. A bolt gun to the head is still a bolt gun to the head.

You're retarded. LDL is necesary to produce things like fuckin vitamin D. Why would your own body produce something that's so damaging? It doesn't. The only issue with LDL cholesterol is the excessive oxidation of the same caused by endotoxins which you allow into the bloodstream thanks to your sugar ridden diet.

The only accurate thing you've said is processed food isn't good for us. That includes refined carbs too.

While I agree with you that factory farming is unnatural, and has nothing to do with the moral, historical relationship man has had with animals. I just want to point out that you are using the term “natural” to refer to a mythical “state of nature” which human society stands above, beyond, or outside of, and which is an invention of early modern philosophy. Natural law refers to something else entirely — it’s basically the idea that there is an order of being which is innate to humans and which is more or less accessible to reason, and that we live well when we conform to it.
It’s a common mistake, and it’s easy enough to make because there are enough idiots who try to make natural law appeals in ethical debates who also fall back on the false, early-modern definition. But hey, now you know.

No. Vitamin A can only be found as a precursor on plants and we don't convert as much as we can use into vitamin A. Omega 3s can only be found as ALA, of which only about 3% gets converted into DHA and EPA. That's just two examples.

              Not the same Anon, but
              >Why does it matter
Because the trials are about the efficacy of the drugs, not about the effects of diet

              >Tell me you never had health sciences in college without actually saying it

                > Because the trials are about the efficacy of the drugs, not about the effects of diet
The graph is about levels of LDL and rates of CVD, and it establishes as casual relationship.

You clearly don't knoe what "causal" means LMAO

FFY statins are known for their antiinflamatory and neuroprotective features independent of their ability to inhibit HMG-CoA reductase.
If you had ever worked with science in your life you'd know that.

Then take that up with graph makers because they quote boldly state that.

Also, that pic looks like baseless propaganda. Why would they say all LDL cause atherosclerosis? Even the lipid hypothesis you idolize so much acknowledges that it's only the small dense LDL particles that can be problematic.

    >Moral reasons
All biological life survives from the death of other biological life. We are all a part of this cycle, there is no way out of it. Eat clean, raise your own animals if you feel you must.

    > actually believing veganism is moral or ethical
Veganism is midwit a take, enjoy slowly starving yourself to death and aging 10 years for every 1

lmao bro, hunting animals and eating them is just a core part of nature
if you lived in a cave 50,000 years ago and all your bros were going out to hunt would you really be the gay saying "uhmmm actually guys I think I'll just stay back here and pick berries"?

Going nearly vegetarian literally drove me insane for three months.
And it fucked with my psychology for over half a year.
Eating meat again was the best thing I’ve ever done, dietary-wise.
I was able to cure all my ED’s, which were developed because of all the near-vegetarian eating I’d been doing, by going 100% zero carb for two weeks.
You shouldn’t go vegetarian. You should do keto or zero carb. Meat is all you really need.
