IIFYM diet is king for me. Nothing wrong with getting a couple burgers or a pizza if you know how to implement them in your day. It's all a game of calories in and out. Been having great success cutting at ~2100 calories a day eating a little junk food here and there.

True about fat, but the liver will turn any excess protein into glucose. So, protein does everything a slow digesting carb would do and more. Unless you're an athlete, a type 1 diabetic, or have poor liver function, carbs aren't important.
