        overhead pulling down movements will achieve the greatest activation. Pullups are probably the absolute best.

        rowing will also activate it, but the best way to activate a given muscle is to follow its fibers. Bringing the elbows back behind the body will definitely work out your lats, just not optimally.

        Depending on the row, you are going to bias different parts of your traps and bias your rhomboids.

        The higher you row, the lower on your traps and the more you'll bias your rhomboids. It's the same principle outlined above, just look for muscle fibers, the closer you are to being perpendicular to the muscle fibers, the more you will bias that muscle.

    Single arm lat pushdown with a cable. Slightly bent elbow and flair out to your side slightly. Lights my shit up.

    Also weighted neutral grip pullups, tucking the elbows and pulling to your chest

    Weighted wide grip pull ups, neutral grip pull downs, bb rows
    My lats exploded after doing all three
